I guess he would have rather golf than play with Peyton...Not doing well is even par as been reported.

I'm sure if he wanted to he'd be hall of fame golf. I think after his 6th superbowl though he's going to make a run for president. We're he'll be a HOF President, etc.

Even par? Tom's shooting even par? Any non pro golfer shooting even par at any of those courses they're playing at in Monterey would be outstanding. I'm going to try to watch some of it tomorrow.

You said it. Even par at Pebble Beach for an amateur would be like a pro golfer taking the field at Foxborough and hitting 18 of 28 for 220 yards and a couple of TDs (and probably an interception).

Is there any way in which this guy isn't Mr Perfect?? Even for a Pats fan, it's kind of distressing how great he is.

Is that even par after they take his handicap? What is his handicap?

This is Tom Brady we're talking about. They add 3 strokes to his score.

[Of course, this is to avoid disrespecting Rodney, who gets 5 strokes added to his score. ]

They add them? Surely they take three off. So he had a handicap of three? Jeez, that's good.

Brady had 3 birdies....

It's Billy that is holding him back!!!!

Hope he doesn't choke on the greens like he did in the AFCC.

This board is wonderful. Lurk for a just a few moments and be amazed. Brady threw a pick to END a playoff game.
In a desperation drive. He had something like 30 seconds. If he'd had 2 1/2 minutes or if they'd just needed a FG that would have been different.

choking is to have the best talent in the world and then go out and play like crap.

Brady having what he had AND performing at the level he did only enforces the fact the he is an elite QB and maybe the best out there.
Trolls saying statements like yours enforces only one thing....your an ignorant A**hole troll...that's all

Come on, don't feed the trolls.

On topic, didn't someone post and say they heard Brady on sirius say he wasn't going to Pebble Beach? Don't know what happened, and why he changed his mind.

the man is hot!( and yes I am a girl ).

Ironwasp: I don't know what Brady's handicap is (though I do know that handicaps are subtracted from scores, not added). All I'm saying is that given how good Tom is at everything (q.v. his appearance on Saturday Night Live), surely he's better than the average PGA player.

Edit: according to this article, his handicap is somewhere around a 7.

Interesting. Here's a neat fact. Before the final pass of the game, Brady had completed 21 of 33 passes for 232 yards and a touchdown with a completion percentage of 63.6 and a QB rating of 94.5.
Right before that throw he had to get his team across 40 yards of turf in 22 seconds because he needed to get a touchdown because his defense allowed 38 points.

Sorry Pats fans, clearly Brady just can't get it done.
