I was kind of surprised that they let it go on in the rain. Dangerous with all that electrical equipment exposed to the rain.
With Prince holding that microphone, a sudden jolt could have turned him into Don King.
Agreed U2 best, but Prince was much better than I ever expectedSeriously, the U2 halftime show for SB 36 was the best ever.
I agree, but Prince was much better than I expected.
That was one of the worst halftime shows I have seen. This guy sang like 3 songs from 1985. Pretty pathetic performance!
Wow... That was the best half time show I personally have ever seen (even on replays.) Prince ++
I enjoyed the Prince presentation. A bit af a departure from the usual act he has. Loved the covers. Appreciated the new Foo Fighters (Best of you).
Chord progression was wrong on that, though. Still fun to watch.
His lead playing, however, is mediocre at best. Nice sound on the Strat, I was glad he put the Tele down.
More into showmanship than musicianship.
I know he's capable of better guitar playing when he's focused on it than he showed last night.
Best?? Surely you jest. That guy is horrendous, just plain horrendous. A no talent if there ever was one.
I'll dispute you on who owns Watchtower. Sure, Dylan wrote the lyrics, but Hendrix made it his. So much so that Dylan credits Hendrix's version as the definitive version and much more often than not actually performed Hendrix's version.
Husker Du, Violent Femmes, the Replacements, and Prince.
Well, I mean, you like Peyton Manning, so it's not like you have admirable critical skills. I'm not surprised you think Prince has no talent.
