Anyone else just hear PS go nuts on Borges for his anti Belichick obsession? At one point he stated Borges bitterness dated back to his close friendship with Bledsoe. Borges began to stammer when PS asked if it were true that Borges was Bledsoe's supper guest back in his Pat days. Borges was caught off guard and didn’t deny it but demanded that Sheppard cite his source.

Good stuff.:D

Kontra. There's this thing called the Internet. You can listen now live to this on WEEI. Really, I'm not kidding.

Shep has committed the mortal sin of criticizing a fellow Boston area mediot and is therefore incurring Callahan's cover up wrath.

Need more detail...what was Borges complaining about now?

Shep's point is not the current Borges columns about playing starters on STs but his point is that time and again Borges takes an anti-BB stance on nearly everything and has a anti-BB bias that permeates his work. Callahan is deliberately obtuse retorting with the strawperson argument that "you homers won't ever criticize BB".

Listened for a sec i think it was Gronk on special teams.

Still...he's been doing it forever. Never heard anybody ***** about it then and when he gets injured then that is somehow the big thing to criticize BB with.

Some of these ******* writers man..

Good. Its a shame he didn't hit him.

but you take your victories where you can.

Shep retorted with "the Giants play their guys on STs" but his rebuttal was ignored.

Not to say that Borges' et. al. ST criticism does not have validity but again it's not the one article that's Shep's point; it's the many years' constant attack on BB body of work that Shep attacks Wrong Borges on. It's just that Callahan distorts this thesis to mean that the recent Borges ST article is the issue, which it isn't.

I'm at work. It's easier for someone to post it for me so that I don't have to go searching for it and can stay on this page instead.

The good news is that web browser tabs were invented nearly a decade ago.

It was great.

Pete said what I've always wanted someone to say to Borges. cant stand that guy sometimes as he's way to critical on the Pats. Pete was talking about the dinners he had at Bledsoe's ahile Borges denied it. The whole argument started with them going back on forth about Borge's personal vendetta against BB because he makes his job so hard but then escalated to an total blowout.

Borges is such a loser tool. Has there anyone in Boston who has been more wrong about more things concerning the Patriots than Wrong Borges. The sniveling, smarmy, egotistical plagerist has huge balls just to show his face in the media. BTW- now he wants to take credit because early on he "implied" that Cunningham's improvement was chemically attained.

He is typical of the slime who lives for other's pain and failures. Personally I couldn't be in the same room without having to ***** slap him after every sentence he uttered. He a wasted talent as a Boxing Writer, and now just a characterture of himself. Any show that has him on is just playing to massive hate that Borges has brought on himself for his malicious and uniformed attacks. And the cloak of "non-homerism" he tries to wrap around himself is nothing but saran wrap hiding an agenda that has been years in the making. You and I have more inside sources inside Gillette than Wrong Borges does. He is like Anthrax down there

I'm glad Pete took him on. I was surprised the other day when I put EEI on (they were talking again about the stupid Red Sox on 98.5), which I rarely do, to hear Pete Shepard back on there. Thought he was out months ago. I will never hear the bashing, however, as Borges, along with Deossie, is one of my ITTD (Immediately Turn the Dial) personalities. Refuse to give him any audience or listen to a word he says on principle.

The good news is that I'm also busy. And was looking for more or less one click. But I'll search it later. Thanks for the ultra dry sarcasm though. My skin is cracking because your fingers just produced the Sahara desert by way of keyboard.

Speaking of people slamming Borges, it reminds me of Felger (before he went contrarian) used to embarrass Borges and Cafardo on a weekly basis on Sports Final every Sunday night in the early 2000s. That was classic Boston Sports TV.

But clearly not too busy to keep posting about how people won't find a link for you.

This post, for example, just took me four seconds.

EDIT: And, to be honest, I really don't care if people find the link or not. I'll just look it up later after work. Not sure if I'd really be able to listen to it right now anyway.

Heard the interview, thought Pete was a bit tongue tied and could have done better.

Gresch and Zo blew away any other information that I have ever heard on the whole PED thing, they indicated Cunningham was suspended for amphetimines.

Adderall would pretty much fall under "amphetamines".
