I wasn't paying close attention to the game at this point, so I missed that they enforced the penalty after overruling the fumble call.
How does that follow any logic? After reviewing the play, the officials ruled, correctly, that there was no fumble. No fumble, no TD. So no TD, but the celebration penalty still applies? I could understand if it was a personal foul penalty, but a post TD celebration penalty that normally gets assessed on kickoffs...I don't get it.
How different were those last 2 drives.....one to tie it, even overcoming the lousy offensive PI call. Then the crap the bed like that right out of the shoot on the next drive. WOW
