Sure, we can't have Ray Mickens as a starting CB. But if we get a #2 for him and sign a competent CB, even if he's not as good as Samuel, that's OK. Just don't let him go for a damn 2008 comp pick.

Franchise and trading him would be a good move. I would rather have Clement because I still think he is a better CB and fits our system. Then we could potentially have another first rounder and an upgrade at CB.

why not franchise and try to resign him again..?
i dont think u can get a muc hbetter corner than Asante .. why risk it? keep a player that played great..knows system and everything

dont say upgrade b/c the other player can turn out bad
