This is only a few series in.... He's looking like the best player on Defense right now. This isn't "flashing potential"... he's been flat out dominant against a pretty good LT.

Yep. And one beauty of preseason is that the Brady-Lloyd completion that was negated by a ticky-tack penalty call "counts" in the ways that matter.

Reality check: Anyone expecting the secondary to play lights out is in for a long season. The goal is for the secondary to improve the yards per game by 10-15 spots. Yes it sucks to see long completion, but don't expect plays NOT to be made by opposing QBs.

For tonight, I'll just be happy that they played a big role in Brees Go for 1 for 4 for 4 yards.

-2nd Team is on for the most part... Arrington, Hightower, Ninkovich still out there though.

-Hightower blew up a running play big time. Huge hit on the RB but didn't wrap up. Has also blitzed and hit the QB a second after he got rid of the ball. No penalty though.

He has good power an energy, I'm not sure if he has any arms. ..shouldn't having arms be a requirement? If he does has arms he fooled me!

On a serious note, he's being where he needs to be generally but he has to wrap up, can't just hit the guy like in college.
