Three Pats have the flu. Do you believe it or is BB just giving some people some time to heal?

I think he's resting a couple of players. I think Troy Brown has the "Player of the Game" flu. Smart move by BB as the Pats probably have a game plan for the Colts pretty much set after facing them 6 times in the last 5 years.

I don't believe it for a second....

There is a nasty stomach virus sweeping all over..I know it knocked the crap outta me on the weekend. Its bad, but shortlived.

Yeah, there is the rotovirus going around that's giving people nasty GI problems.

Yikes! I hope I don't get it. I'll start wearing a surgical mask around like people do in Japan.

Wasn't that China during SARS?

I thought I saw a pic recently (in the news) that had people in Japan wearing masks waiting to get on a subway...I could be wrong.

Its common for Japanese to wear a mask even if they just have a common cold. Its really a courtesy to prevent others from getting sick.

I wish the people at my work would do that...

They are all back. per Reiss:
"That also meant a return to practice for nose tackle Mike Wright, wide reciever Troy Brown and offensive tackle Ryan O'Callaghan, all of whom missed the start of Wednesday's practice with flu-like symptoms."

See, this makes my original point. I still think BB rested these guys for a reason.

Well, the net-net is that everyone is back at practice. Remember, Brady had a 100+ fever the night before the AFCCG in '04 and he lit Pitt up! :rocker:

Are you sure that wearing a surgical mask is classy? After all, we wouldn't want to offend Mr. Tomlinson, would we?
