I'm sorry that you can't handle an honest, fair, balanced and unbiased assessment. But hey, it gives you something to cry about.

Youre assessment is so full of ***** Andy. Do you really believe that anyone buys what youre selling?

Nice to see you have already written him off.

Its called realistic expectaions. You should try it sometime instead of the fantasy world that you live in.

Dowling has shown absolutely nothing. How is the world can Homers like you even speculate on how he could be NEs answer to CB for years to come?

That is even stupid by your standards.

After reading your drivel for the last 10 years I really doubt it.

Y
ou really should watch the games. No one took his job. He started at LCB all season long. He moved inside to S at times in sub packages at the end of the season.
How do you not realize that you look like an idiot when you have to lie to support your crying that even you know isn't legitmate?

Youre a clueless Fool.

McCourty could not hold up in press coverage hence he was moved because he was a liability. Good grief youre the Spinmaster.

So tell me. Is drafting a player at 32 and having him be 2nd team all pro as a rookie, and your #1 corner on a 13-3 team that went to the SB your idea of a bad draft pick?

The bottom line is that you question if NE really has been bad at drafting CBs. Its laughable when NE has continued to draft CBs since 2009 and by your own admission theyd be prudent to draft another in 2012.

Wouldnt a team good at drafting CBs be full by now? How clueless are you?

Every team makes them
.

Every team has a fan like you making excuses.

Why do you insist on acting like a dooochebag?

Because youre a myopic Homer spinning BS.

Ellis Hobbs stated 49 games in 4 in 4 season for a team that was 49-15 with 2 trips to the AFCG and 1 SB.
The defense he was on allowed the 4th fewest points in the NFL.
Now that includes his rookie year when he started only the second half of the season. That was the year the ppg was 27.5 in the first half and 14.5 in the second half of the season.
So then in the 3 remaining seasons that he started the defense ranked second in the NFL in points alllowed.
You have decided that this defense stunk and 'had no one else' while it was the 2nd best defense in the NFL. You are crying so much you can't see through the tears.

Blah Blah Blah

He sucked. Hobbs was worst than Samuel and Samuel was worse than Law.

Go find some nonsense stats to prove me wrong why dont you?

I guess we should be one of those teams that has 4 corners on the roster and all are allpros. You are an idiot.

No Moron, 2 good CBs would be a great start. Nobody knows about Dowling and McCourty and youre a fool to even suggest that they could be around for years to come.

How did Bodden work out? How did McCourty work out in his 2nd season? You dont know so quit with the BS speculation. I do not buy 1 word of it.

Oh now we are back to this one? You are something.

You hate the truth.

A 4th round draft pick who sticks for 3 years, plays in 39 games and starts 13 on a team that was 35-13 in those 3 years being called a bust proves, once again, you are an idiot.

Only you could spin how Wilhite was OK. Youre a joke Andy.

Since corners get injured and #3 corner is more important than many starters, of course they should.

No, because the CBs that have been drafted are really question marks.

Youre a Dreamer.

Yup. Facts. Being drafted #41 and not working out is not an epi failure. It happens. Often. In fact Butler is far and away the most productive player drafted in that slot in the last 4 drafts.
You just have no clue about this stuff and want to cry.

Youre Clown.

Where is Butler today? He was cut after 2 seasons.

So far Triumph all you have done is state X player sucks, Y player is a bust and misrepresented why McCourty was moved to S. Maybe he did struggle in press coverage or maybe he pressed his player and was supposed to release the WR to the safety. We don't know the coverage scheme. It was fairly obvious to most people, without the user ID Triumph, that the Pats had better depth at CB than at safety so BB moved his McCourty, a good tackler, to safety to cover up the poor depth at that position.

I posted a response to an earlier post of yours regarding player expectations based on draft position. I ask you again what are your expectations of players drafted in each round and for that matter define good CB play?

I may not agree with AJ or DI but at least they actually make statements in the affirmative with quantifiable criteria. All you seem to do is make bold exclamations without backing anything up with substance.

Wouldnt a team good at drafting CBs be full by now? How clueless are you?

Wouldn't you think that a team with the best QB in league wouldn't need to draft QBs? Drafting players at positions you have players is good sense, it's called depth, it's called incremental improvement, it's called football. Watch it sometime.

I am not saying BB is infallible or hasn't made mistakes with the draft, but he is not as bad as you represent him to be at evaluating talent. Compared to the league in totality and historically he is one of the best talent evaluators and drafters.
