Patriots Throwback Jerseys?!

Does anyone have any word about throwback jerseys for the 2012 season?? It would be especially great to play with them on Thanksgiving against the Jets in their throwback uniforms. Also it would be cool to see them used in another game or two!

they won't wear the red throwbacks on thanksgiving since it's a road game. i haven't seen them wear the white throwbacks since 2009 season when they played the broncos .

The white throwbacks are really boring. The Jets throwbacks as the Titans of New York are disgusting.

Not necessarily accurate. In the NFL the home team for every game has the choice of whether they want to wear white or the dark colors. If the Jets opt to wear white then the Pats can wear red.

They should wear their early 1990's, silk white shirt/ blood red pant motif, with spackles of tope. It would be absolutely fabulous if they incorporated a subtle baby blue tint in their shirts, to really highlight Tommy's steely blue eyes.

I really do not know if the Jets have ever worn white at home. One would think that in all the years they have been in existence, over 50 years, that there must have been some occasions when they wore white.+

Are you sure about that. I really can not remember, but if that happened, it would have been very unusual.

Who comes into Gillette who you would want to see in a throwback?

Divisional teams? Been there, done that it seems.

Denver? Same, though it was a road game.

Arizona? Their unis haven't really changed, have they?

49ers? Not terribly different but their mid 90's with the black shadow #'s were nice.

Colts? Their unis have never really changed.

Texans? Um, no change ever.


Then again, who says that the opponent has to wear their throwback that game?


Some road situations would be cool.

At Tennessee in the old Oiler uniforms could be fun though I think that was done in 2009 on a snowy field in Foxboro...in October.

At Seattle in their old AFC-Days uniforms might be a good change.

The game in London provides an interesting opportunity. Old Rams uniforms vs Pat the Patriot in red...in London...kind of funny, historical twist.

At Jacksonville in the mid 90's uniforms to commemorate the 1996 AFC title game. I'm SURE Jacksonville would love that

i think the only chance to see them in Red next year is on Thanksgiving where both the jets and patriots wear their dark jerseys. As the other poster mentioned (and i forgot) that the pats and lions did it a few years ago in Detroit on Thanksgiving.
