I do not see how in it's current form the game can possibly survive ... what will the game look like 5 -10 - 20 years from now? You can make better helmets but the brain getting slammed is kind of hard to stop inside the skull unless the game is drastically changed.

This the latest in a string of lawsuits targeting the NFL over head injuries. One site tracking the legal maneuvers, NFLConcussionLitigation.com, estimates 51 lawsuits have been filed against the NFL. That includes five wrongful death lawsuits.
Locks estimates his Locks Law Firm represents 500 to 600 ex-players who have filed suit against the NFL over head injuries.
