Bring on the Ravens

Brady didn't have a running back like Ray Rice either did he? I don't remember who the RB was in those years. The great teams either have an elite QB or an elite RB. With the teams with elite QBs, are the RBs not great or are they just not utilited as much to be able to put up the numbers because those teams are throwing the ball more?

McGahee was our backup the last couple years and didn't put up big numbers because of that. He was in Denver this year and had a probowl season.

Maybe this argument makes no sense I don't know.

The RBs he had were Antoine Smith for 2 SBs and Corey Dillon for the 3rd. Not quite Ray Rice but decent.

How you know The Patriots are in trouble:

Lee Evans is the Ravens 3rd Receiver !

Now that's scary for a team allowing the most +20 yd passes in the AFC.

And thats your dumb, uniformed and biased opinion on my opinion.

It works both ways buddy

No it doesn't. Your opinion is based on the handful of Patriots games you have watched over the years. It carries less weight than the opinion on someone who is a fan of the team and watches every game. That's not even arguable.

How do you know you have absolutely no clue about the game of football:

Lee Evans caught 4 passes for 74 yards and 0 touchdowns during the regular season!

Now that's scary when you consider that's about 1/4 of Chad Ochocinco's production in New England.

You're cruisin' for a banning. Do you want to talk football, or just try to irritate people? It's championship week for cripes sake, go back to your home board if you're going to shovel crap around here.

In 13 games vs the Patriots, Evans has averaged 2.7 catches for 37 tds

Smith, Boldin and Rice are a higher priority.

Now I know you're not serious and you're just trolling.

If you're going to base Team X is in trouble because the opposition has a player that caught five passes this year, there have got to be at least a hundred more valid counterpoints - as well as at least a hundred more valid points as to why the Ravens might win.

Really? What's scary about Evans? His 5 catches!

For a team that has been a brides maid for 11 years their fans certainly talk a lot.

um you do realize he was injured most of the season.. right ?

I see knowledge is not your forte.

I think Lee is just about ready to start cooking.. playing against the 31st Ranked defense is good timing. Did you see that sweet 1 arm 30 yard reception against the Texans ?

Mouthy football team, mouthy fans. They go hand-in-hand.

And you are being obtuse.

You are measuring Lee Evans ability to impact the game based on his stats this season ?

And I thought the Bills were in your division.

Denial is not going to help you. Lee Evans is back from injury and itching to make an impact.. he is actually a pretty good receiver.. trust me.

Was he injured for 15 games? Because his season stats are about a nice game for a guy like Deion Branch. He stunk, regardless of injury. And yes, I saw that reception. His only one of the game, by the way.

The fact that you think we should be afraid of Lee Evans, of all people, shows you are clueless. He never hurt the Patriots when he faced us twice with the Bills, why is he going to be a factor now that he's old and coming off an injury riddled season in which he had less than 100 yards receiving?

Our number three option is Aaron Hernandez. If anyone whould be worried here, it isn't the Patriots.

You accuse others of not being knowledgeable about football, yet you continue to keep quoting yardage stats as if they actually mean something.

You're either trolling, badly misinformed, or both. We can go back and forth all week long about how one single play is somehow 'proof' that one team or the other will win - when in reality that's far down the list of valid reasons that either team might win.

Was he the 3rd receiver ?

Please leave him singled up.. please !

What does that even have to do with anything? He was the Bills' primary option, was younger, healthier, faster, and still didn't hurt us. Now that he's coming off an injury, hasn't played well recently and is the third receiver, he's primed to have a better game? In which planet do you live in? This is just absurd.

Was he double teamed as the Bills prime receiver ?

How do you explain his 'non-performance' against the Patriots historically.

All World DBs in single coverage ?

Why would Lee Evans not be considered a serious threat being the 'non-prime receiver' against a Team with one of the worst pass defenses this season having to contend with Boldin and Smith ?

Please explain this to me.

He was their 1st or 2nd leading receiver every year except last year.

Decent receiver. Good hands. Good deep threat. No much of a chain mover anymore and hes lost some speed. They'll keep and eye on him but hes not a major concern anymore.
