RAC was interviewed live on the "Dan Patrick Show" this morning and said BB hasn't called him about prepping for the Broncos. He said that BB doesn't need his help.

I am guessing he hasn't called Chan Gailey or Mike Tomlin either.

Gotta love Romeo.

Romeo will do well in KC with Pioli. He has a good reign on that team and they played lights out for him to end the year. Good for him.

As far as defending the Broncos, Belichick will have the defense ready. Play an 'over' front and contain the edges outside. Play combination coverage in the secondary with a high safety 60-80% of the time, with Thomas being doubled when you go to man coverage.

When Tebow throws, force him to use the middle of the field. Mix up your stunts on passing downs and shift the defense late prior to the snap from time to time.

It simply comes down to the players executing it and the offense doing their part (scoring 28-40 points).

Considering the Chiefs defense played the Broncos the way the Patriots did after they switched to the 3-4 Romeo has a point (granted the Chiefs did it for 4 quarters, unlike the Patriots)

That first game at Mile High was the blue print other teams used, now it's up to the Patriots to execute the game plan and stop the Denver offense.

A boring, straightforward take on this...

The Patriots just played and beat the Broncos a few weeks ago. Hardly an opponent they're desperate for notes on. :confused2:

Would have been funnier if he'd said something like "Bill, call me. I've got some great inside information that will help."

Denver would erupt.

Which is Romeo's point.
I do wonder if Fox is smart enough to come up with another offensive game plan?

He doesn't look that smart

In fact, first offensive play for Denver will be that PA pass they got all the yards on against Pittsburgh, the Pats Pulpit article someone posted yesterday highlights how they used it effectively.

What would have been even funnier would have been if he said, "haven't spoken to Bill but me and Josh had long discussion regarding Tebow and the Denver offense and how to stop it."

Ahhh, but did Romeo call Bill?

Hard to believe Belichick wouldn't talk to his good buddy and congratulate him on his new gig. (It's not likely he "liked" a status change on Facebook or anything). Once the conversation gets going, who knows where it could go ...

So it was a matter of semantics.. interesting.

It is all part of the master plan.

Because we learned how much it bothers the rest of the league, I now want the Pats to hire any and all fired coaches to the staff for the playoffs just to piss them off. Let's get Spagnuolo on board in case they face the Giants in the Super Bowl. For that matter, let's invite Romeo, Matt Cassel, and Kyle Orton as our special guests and sit them directly behind the Denver bench, each with binoculars and headsets that aren't actually hooked up to anything.

I heard that comment on NFL Network about Bill calling Crennel and thought it was odd.

I think it is funny that Romeo told the media that they are full of it. Even if they share info about common opponents (a distinct possibility), the media played it off like Bill needed Romeo's help.

I also noticed the talking heads referring to Pats defense as the 32nd ranked defense. I thought GB beat us out for that honor. Either way, still no concerns about GB's defense from the media but the Pats get plenty of airtime in that regard.
