Steelers and Broncos Square Off for Right to Play the Patriots
By: Derek Havens

After the Cincinnati Bengals were run over by the Houston Texans on Saturday evening, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos will square off for the right to play in New England on Jan. 14. ...

Every given Sunday...blah blah blah. It will be the Steelers the Pats are playing. Hope they can remember to cover Heath Miller for their next meeting.

And the rest of the receivers as well, for that matter . . .

We defeated Tebowmania once... we could EASILY do it again

It's gonna be the Steelers, let's be realistic. The Patriots have **** LeBeau's number.

In a game of rock-paper-scissors, the Steelers are that guy almost always throwing rock and winning for some reason. The Pats always throw paper against them and win, but this year, LeBeau switched it up and threw scissors against the Pats cuz he knew they'd try to outsmart him and throw paper again. This time BB will throw rock, cuz he knows the Steelers will keep throwing scissors until the Pats quit throwing paper.

Broncos are lucky that Big Ben is banged up, Mendenhall is gone and Clark is out. Pittsburgh is most likely going to win, but as a Pats fan, I'm going to be rooting hard for the Broncos, cuz I am worried about playing Pitt, knowing that the defense will give up a lot of passing yards and the LBs will abuse the Patriot O-Line. But then again, Patriots have shown that they can win with a slow start on offense unlike years past. Also unlike previous seasons, they can make in-game adjustments to alter the defense and the offensive playcalling based on what the defense gives Brady.

I'm a believer this year, and I'm glad this team hasn't peaked yet this year, unlike last season. If they had to lose a home game, at least it was in the regular season, unlike the postseason.

Steelers are the most complete team but they are banged up and on the road. Broncos are good on D and run the ball well but have lost 3 strait. Hmmm.

Big Ben has never beaten the Pats in the PO.

I am kind of liking the idea of a Pitt, Baltimore, GB run to the Lombardi.

There is something to be said for beating the best competition.

I think the Pats should beat either the Sqealers or Broncos.......not afraid of either team. No guaranteed win against either obviously.....but I really like our chances.

That being said.....I'm going to pull for the Broncos tomorrow on at least 3 levels:
1. I think we beat the Broncos easier
2. I don't like the whining Squealers or their fans much
3. I like Teebow

I think it will be a good game.

That's what I'm thinking too. LeBeau doesn't want to go back to zone and get assassinated again, so he'll implement the same plan with a few twists but this time we'll be waiting for it.

Its never easy, is it? :rocker:

Oh well, we should be used to this by now. To be honest, I'm more worried about Baltimore should we play them.

This Steeler vs Bronco game has all of the makings of the Saints vs Seahawks game last year. The Steelers are the experienced team going up against a team that backed into the playoffs. I still think the Steelers will win a squeeker. But I won't be shocked if Denver some how finds a way to win.

I think the Pats are going to kill Baltimore. IMO, they've been overhyped all season. The Steelers game will prob be a lot closer, but the Pats are going to win,IMO!

I don't know about you, but I want Baltimore. I want the Pats to pay them back for that 2009 playoff game. I'd like a 45-3 beatdown! LOL! I know I'm over doing it.

well we are playing pitt..denver has no chance...road to SB is going to be tough...pitt then balt..

I'm hoping for Pittsburgh.

Too bad we don't have HFA for this one ;)

IIAC wasn't the last time the Pats lost to Pitt in the playoffs was when Bledsoe was QB and he got hit and fumbled the ball to seal the game.....I think the Pittsburgh LB that recovered the game winning turnover was a guy named Mike Vrabel?

Gimme Pittsburgh then Baltimore let us prove we are the best and shy away from no one! Then let u play the saints in the SB. I want the saint as I like them I hate the packers.
