Chad's Very Busy Social Life

Well Chad is an attention-digging, publicity mongering skank himself, so it's a perfect fit. He is arguably even more thirsty for publicity and gratification than she is.

Chad has been by far the worst signing in the BB era.
Give me a break. He doesn't even compare to Adalius Thomas.

I didn't even mind Adailus until the 3rd yr. He was actually okay in the SB year, and although hurt in 2008--he was still nowhere near some of the other mentioned signings such as Duane Starks, Monty Beisel, Chad Brown, Doug Gabriel, Joey Galloway, Albert Haynesworth etc. It wasn't until the '09 season that he became extremely disgruntled and was a cancer to the team.

If I had to pick, it'd have to be Duane Starks, due to the fact that we gave up a 3rd rounder for him. That's a pretty big swing and a miss.

Oh yeah, and who's the other more recent 3rd rounder that we lost? The guy from the Raiders...Derrick Burgess. He was another costly free agent acquisition.

Is there any evidence that the Pats hit rate on FA signings is lower than the league norm? This feels like the same pattern we get into when discussing the draft...cherry picking failed individuals and implying a higher failure rate as a pattern.

Chad Brown......Twice I believe

Belichick is a great coach, but man, some of these losers he signed makes me cringe when you think of how BAD they were.

Chad Brown improved as the year went on. Beisel was a bust who somehow got bustier as time went on. The two are associated because they came in at the same time, but Chad was alot better, IMO.

That was the year they unexpectedly lost Bruschi and Ted Johnson, right? 2005? It was tough to rebuild the ILB position on the fly like that. Vrabel was so good and flexible. I remember how he moved inside to straighten things out.

And don't forget the ancient, overpaid Shawn Springs.

You can keep making excuses for this guy as long as you want since he's on this team now, but it just looks silly at the end of the day. I've never seen such a worthless player get so much love from fans and have all of these built in excuses for him just because he is on some corny reality shows and did some end zone dances on a team that he corrupted for years.

There are no excuses that need be made. Your claim simply doesn't stand up to any scrutiny whatsoever.

There's no question Ocho has been a disappointment. But some of the invective he catches from you and others is unwarranted, IMHO.

Don't worry guys! Chad will break out next week and shatter his catches per game average with two for 27 yards.

Okay I love Chad, and while his blocking has been great, the passing game has been pretty ochostinko. Only 15 completions on the year.

I heard someone on EEI call in and call him "Unocinco" because of this and I laughed out loud in the car, sorry Chad!

After one spectacular interception for a TD, he sucked like a Hoover.
