I'll quote PFT's description of it:

"We present the only two Romanian-born athletes to ever play in a major American professional sports league. And Danny Woodhead."

Gonna go out on a limb and guess the middle guy plays in the NBA?

Nope! That's Woodhead. Didn't you ever hear that the camera adds 4 feet?

Gheorghe Mure?an FTW!

(Shout out to wikipedia for the spelling.)

Until injuries took their toll, yes.

Interesting note (to me, at least)....

At 7'7" tall, he and Manute Bol are the two tallest people ever to play NBA basketball, but Muresan was once on the court playing with a taller player.

Compared to Sun Mingming (7'9", 370 lbs),

the 315 lb Muresan was completely outsized. (note: that picture is not of Muresan)

For those wondering his name is Georghe Muresan. He's 7 foot 7.

Used to play. He's about 7-7 if I remember correctly, Gheorghe Muresan.

Remember, Mesko is 6'4".....

Wow Woodhead look like a young kid or toddler next to these guys!

I showed that picture to my wife yesterday and told her the short guy is Danny Woodhead. She asked (seriously), "Is he a midget?"

I advised her that there are no midgets in the NFL yet.

Woodhead evens it all out by having the devil eyes

Zoltan Mesko is a weapon....

Exactly. Not getting much recognition for the year he's having. BB had some praise today:

4...Belichick had high praise for punter Zoltan Mesko. He started by talking about Mesko's holding on field goals, which is an area he said shouldn't be overlooked and something Mesko has improved and worked on quite a bit. As for punting, Belichick shared his viewpoint that so much of it is situational and how "you don't just sit out there and bang away." Situations include dealing with a rush, different field position, and wind, and Belichick said that Mesko's "situational punting has really improved." Overall, Belichick said, "I think he's taken a solid jump from his rookie year in terms of his overall mechanics and situational awareness."

IMO Mesko looks much more comfortable this year both in situations that call for the boomer, and when the touch punt is called for.

As for the photo: Cover up the basketball player part, and Woodhead still looks like a midget next Zoltan.

creepy pic. Mesko has Dracula teeth, Woodhead devils eyes and Muresan...well if I face a guy like him in the street I ll probably run the other way or cross the street

"Dracula teeth"? Now the Romanian-American board member will be all over this thread!
