Before I'm publicly hanged, allow me to say that I am OPTIMISTIC about this season ~ clearly more so than most ~ and believe we are on the brink of a VERY strong stretch run that may possibly take us all the way...
But for THIS game in particular...
1 ~ Young Quarter Backs who've had two years to master a System, yet have produced virtually no tape in that System off of which to discern their tendencies and weaknesses are every DC's NIGHTMARE. Tyler Palko fits that to a T...And if he DOES FacePlant, his back up is none other than the scrappy, savvy, diligent, brilliant, and physically talented Ricky Stanzi.
2 ~ Romeo Crennel. History is replete with examples of old OC's and DC's coming back to haunt their old team. Simple reasons: First off, they know where all the chinks in the armor are. More importantly: They speak the Systemic language fluently.
3 ~ Although last week's efforts were ASTONISHING, considering the annual devastation of our roster ~ and indeed give GREAT hope that we're actually going to be able to be competitive, going forward!! ~ the fact remains that we have a LOT of guys in our Back 7 who simply aren't qualified for the jobs they're holding...That reality IMMENSELY exacerbates the danger of going against a QB on whom we have little or no BOOK.

The Patriots are favored by 16.5.
I would NOT lay those points!!
Just doing my part to assure that we actually win this thing, 38-3!!
