The analysis disregards something BB covets, attitude and dedication. I don't know Page's level of dedication or whether he has or doesn't have a poor attitude. However, anyone who has been following the team since 2001 knows BB will take the less talented guy who has those two qualities. I suspect, admittedly based not on fact but simply a hunch, BB made some of these head scratching cuts and has put unknowns/castoffs on the 53 man roster based on these two qualities or lack thereof.
If Page is a guy who was dedicated and willing to do what the coaches asked, I would think he would be a positive addition. If these two qualities were in question and this is part of the reason he did not remain on the Patriots, I don't want him near the Patriots roster. At this point it appears the Patriots are stacked with dedicated, team first guys (buh bye Haynesworth). I'd rather see what we can do with the type guys.
For instance, say what you want about his lack of production, Ocho Cinco's utter lack of production and lack of spotlight now as compared to most of his career, I would have thought that would be a chemistry problem. However, he has really shown something by not being problematic while putting forth max. effort to improve within the Patriot system.
