Sounds like envy to me. And judging from the line "Yes, there was a fluke Super Bowl appearance in 1986" I have to assume he's not even aware that wasn't the first time the Pats went to the big dance.

The funniest part of that link wasn't the article, it was the comment beneath the article. The Pats are "aging" not sure what Pats team he is looking at but the one I watch is rather young except at LB and a few RB spots.

I honestly don't find much humorous about that article. I think it comes of as snide and defensive. The only aslient point he makes the entire time is about how inconsistent NE has been.

I'm all for poking fun at ourselves, but at least come with something original or well thought out.
