So much for "we physical, they finesse" Suck on it, lady T.

Nice hit by a offensive player masquerading as a defensive CB. Where do they learn those techniques...

Oh, I know......... It must come from their HEAD COACH. :singing:

Not a good day for LT...Mayo laid him out pretty nicely too.

The guy is so annoying....during his charger days it was almost like he felt he deserved a ring to be given to him. On sunday too...runs for a 1st down and celebrates like an idiot.

i totally agree

I have never hoped for, or cheered, or been happy that a player got injured. Until Sunday -
I laughed out loud when a college QB, converted to Patriots poor man's Wes Welker, delivered a hit which could end LaClassington's whine filled career. Edelman's stature has been raised significantly in my book - and if LaClassy never plays again, even better.

I thought the hit was a bit cheap. I know I wouldn't want our players tackled like that, even though the are. Shouldn't be going at the knees.

It didn't look like Edelman was going for Tomlinson's knees; it looks like Lady T hurt herself on the landing.

The tackle was fine in my eyes. There was a similar tackle on Gronk and that looked fine too imo.

His shoulder went right into the knee, if I remember correctly.

Thats precisely who I was thinking about. I hate those types of tackles and its typically what you see against many tall receivers.

It wasn't a dirty hit at all, it's not like he's a QB looking down the field and is vunerable. How many players do you think have tried to take out Brandon Jacobs Knee(s)? Also the hit wasn't even that bad, LT didn't have his leg planted upon contact. When your that old and have that many miles at RB theese things happen, and I couldn't think of a more deserving guy.

Couldn't have happened to a classier guy.

How many snaps has Edelman had on defense in his career? I don't think that was a dirty hit, I think he was following the coaching he likely got and trying to tackle the runner low.

I agree with this. You see these types of tackles all the time. A better athlete then Her Whineness would have hurdled him and picked up another 15 yards.

That's too bad it was only a sprain, I was hoping it was torn. I feel no pity for professional player injuries, the guys get paid millions. College players? Those guys I feel bad for.

Thanks for letting us know that you've never played football competitively outside of backyard games with your friends in your life. DB's (not douchebags, defensive backs) are taught from the time they first start playing football to tackle bigger runners down low as tackling them high usually results in extra yards added onto the play. Ya know... because they're bigger and all?

This.

You see what happens when guys try to hit Gronk high. He takes you on a ride for another 5 yards.
