If we're going after any free agent running back it should be Matt Forté.

This guy is a marginal college player. All of the sudden, he is a 250 pound, unstoppable beast terrorizing NFL defenses.

I'm guessing you don't watch much college football...

Believe me, you don't want this guy on your team.

I don't really think the Pats have a running game problem, they just don't utilize it enough consistently.

Running backs need consistent touches to develop a groove. They stuck with it more in the Jets game, and it was very effective.
"...you don't want this guy on your team"...? I thought this was "your" team since you claim to be a Pats fan? Busted, troll.

If Chicago lets Forte get to free agency then a) they're idiots, and b) we should do whatever we have to do to get him.

Even if it means signing him to a Adrian/CJ type contract? This is the deal he is looking for and he has made no notions otherwise.

As much as I like Forte, I'm thinking there is no way we can bring that type of contract on this team with Welker and Mayo also looking for deals.

Let's review:

This guy is a marginal college player. All of the sudden, he is a 250 pound, unstoppable beast terrorizing NFL defenses.

Then, all of the sudden, his body starts breaking down and the team doesn't want him because of his "erratic behavior."

Conclusion:

This guy is pumped full of more HGH and Dianabol than the 1970s Steelers, Clay Matthews and Barry Bonds combined.

Hahaha that made me laugh. Big bag o'roids
