I've heard someone describe Sanchez as "unnatural" at the quarterback position. I can't think of a better description. While I've come respect Sanchez as a leader who bounces back from adversity, especially with the NY media, I am still astounded while watching him.

Many, many of his throws are just indescribably bad. He rarely hits the receiver where he should; the ball is always too high, too low, behind or ahead of where it should be. His accuracy numbers are up this year, but those are almost all on screen passes and some very accuracy-friendly receivers like Mason, Keller, and Holmes.

If anyone has played coordinated sports before such as football, baseball, or tennis, you'll know that your mind just naturally gets into a hand-eye coordination groove. It seems that with Sanchez, he just does not have that, at least at many times during the game. I've heard his hands are too small; perhaps that is the explanation.

Tough choice, like deciding if you'd rather step in vomit or urine.

How about NEITHER?

Taylor is such a tool, not that I would say that to his face, at least while unarmed. When he went to NY after years of trashing them he made all kinds of suckup comments during his brief tenure. Ignore the has been.

imho both these qbs are equally overrated .
I think Sanchez is overrated.

I don't think Henne is overrated because I honestly don't think anyone really considers him any good. You can't be all that overrated if everyone thinks you're a mediocre-at-best player.

I ll take Rohan Davey's talent

Henne has a higher ceiling, but Sanchez seems to be more consistent. Plus Sanchez has been clutch. He doesn't have good poise or mechanics but he finds ways to get it done. Who is over rating him aside a few idiot jet fans? He is what he is. He won't be a star but he's a good game manager. If Henne screws up(havne't paid attention to him last 2 weeks) he is probably done as a starter I would think.

Don't you guys remember? Chad Henne, "has the potential to be better than Dan Marino."

I think Henne's ceiling is about 9 feet though in part because his team still sucks and that's all he's ever had to work with. Sanchez landed in a better situation coaching and spin wise...he isn't consistent, he's wildly inconsistent. He's been fortunate to have some clutch receivers and when healthy an above average OL and decent RB's playing with him backed up by what has been a very good defense (although I think they too are slipping back to earth). He's like the shortrange version of the gunslinger..who at times is better left holstered although once drawn in desperation he empties his clip furiously and more often than not hits the target well enough to kill it...or be killed by a team whose QB brought extra ammo...and any kind of decent secondary with him to the fight;) Really a heart attack QB... But Rex is the perfect front man for extracting as much positive performance as possible from an impressionable and somewhat naive kid like that who buys all in to Tubby's seasonal confetti visions .

The Raidah's broke his schnoz though and he will be wearing a protective visor for the next couple of weeks so we shouldn't pick on him...he'll probably have more trouble than usual reading defenses and seeing the field...let alone scoffing down gd snacks between series...

As for Jason, Taylor is such a tool... I know he's another Bill and Tom talent heart throb but I'm glad they could never talk him into coming here...

I bet if Henne and Sanchez went to Buffalo and threw four picks with one being a "pick six" late in the 4th quarter, they both would be blamed for the loss.

That makes them about equal.

I don't think he's overrated by anyone other than half the NYJ fanbase. The other half and the rest of the world think he's average at best.

Sanchez is as good as his defense. He's an average NFL quarterback and if he played for Seattle the only person who would know his name would be Pete Carrol the guru of defense and escaped felon from SoCalifornia. Reggy who?

the Brady vs Manning rivalry got replaced by Henne vs Sanchez. interesting!!!
