I'm one. He's young and relatively inexpensive. Everyone has played poorly, not just Tate.

Then why were the only posts you were responding to about needing OL help? Needing OL help does not equal "I think the Lions are a SB caliber team based on this half of preseason football", especially given the circumstantial evidence of this OL failing us when it counts. The Lions specifically weren't really part of the discussion. So, yeah, red herring.

Since the OL has obviously been the weakness tonight, it would stand to reason that it would garner the most histrionics.

If you'd been paying attention, my line of argument has been consistent the entire time. So, no, not a red herring.

Losing the game is one thing.....getting beat up so much that it could affect you in the regular season is another.

except for the fact that the OL is looking terrible and you can say that is the key factor in the Pats playoff losses. i don't think anyone doubts regular season success but in the playoffs, good defenses will expose this OL.
