Benjamin's done a solid job here. A couple quotes you may seen before but this is good journalism. And the piece goes right to questions many fans are concerned about.

Because she writes for a paper Benjamin had to limit the length of piece. Too bad because as you're reading it you wish you could hear more from those she talks to. This has SI written all over it - if only they had given her 4 pages instead of the fourteen inches she got in the Globe. Of course, it may be that I don't really want to know anymore anyway.

It's a good piece..... Doesn't really tell us anything we don't know, but it's we'll written an doesn't drone on. We have no idea what we have in Haynesworth.... He might be a huge waste of space, or he might be that all-world DT that we all know he's capable of.

For the price of admission, which was essentially a later pic and a bag a footballs, I think it's a great gamble. If he's a POS, we'll know soon enough and BB will send him packing before game 2-3.

The upside is certainly worth a shot.......

It is a very fair and even piece. For those who read/saw it in the newspaper, the placement of the column next to CHB's rant about Haynsworth and the Pats was vividly stark. With that said, I'm still having a hard time warming up to Albert, but we'll see.

Felger's been saying the same things since we traded for him. Just sayin...

The man does not have a ring ... I have said it before and until he shows otherwise I am sticking with saying it. He's made money - lots of money but he can't buy a ring with it.

Never been more bored in my life. Didn't even make it to the second page.

Well if Haynesworth worth doesn't work out, it looks like we could have a very good D, IF he DOES work out we could have a great dominate D.

I'm more worried about him getting rid of this court case...

Money also does not buy redemption...

I just want him to sack Sanchez

You know you provided the link to page 3 and not page 1?

ONE QUESTION THAT STICKS in my mind anyway:
All this discussion keeps citing alleged "sexual assault" or that he alledgedly "fondled the breast" of a waitress.

Yet the only specifics I ever read was that he stuck his credit card in her cleavage. WHAT EXACTLY DID HE DO?

I AM NOT MAKING EXCUSES: IF (and this is a very BIG IF) that was the extent - while that is obviously beyond the boundaries at the local Waffle House; it goes at the local DC strip bar. And waitresses at the Waffle House at 2am know they deal with that kind of crowd on their way home. And if Haynesworth was any other Joe (who wasn't the $100M man) he wouldn't be being brought up on sexual assault charges or whatever. The customer would get his hand slapped by the waitress and maybe the manager comes over and asks him to leave.

I have a bit of a hard time that we (the public) would send him to JAIL just so a waitress can soak him in a civil lawsuit and some underpaid hack prosecutors can get a resume blurb WHILE we have guys who are WRONGFULLY CHARGED with Murder rather than ACCESSORY TO MURDER just so they can get a backdoor dismissal of the charges and be back on the field.

If the case is actually more than the credit card thing; well let it all play out and he gets what he deserves; but I don't have a lot of faith in the court system anymore. Certainly not pre-trial when everyone on both sides is busy blowing smoke.

Let me just say the lack of detail about the alleged crime itself to me is the most suspicious thing about the whole situation. We know all the details about Dominique Strauss-Kahn - why not anything more about this; especially if supposedly 10 witnesses.

As I understood it he then proceeded to key in his pin number.

I suspect the team psychologist (BB) is really earning his money on this one.

notting new here, he's kind of a head case he's old coachs say he has notting left but when he's mind is in the game he's a all pro sounds like Randy Moss 2007 to me lets start the season and get the guy on the field
