How bad are these Pats injured: Wright - Vereen - Cunningham - Spikes ?

Re: How bad are these Pats injured?

So that explains the 4 coffins they had out at the practice field today.

Only 3......The 4th was when they dug up Bubba Smith.....to....RUSH THE PASSER!:rocker:

I don't think this thread is as silly as the responses make it seem. I clicked on it....my thought was that with all the Pats' obsessives on this board, there might be a few nuggets from various news sources on how these guys are doing. (Reiss, for example, will say that he saw so and so in the locker room, appeared to be moving well, whatever.)

So, it's not really so dumb to ask.

Re: How bad are these Pats injured?

Just got off the phone with Belichick and I raised that question during the conversation. He told me they're day-to-day.

Great news! Thanks Kontra. We sure are lucky to have a board member with such good contacts. Did he say whether they had upper or lower body injuries?

I would add Dowling, Fletcher, Brace and Deaderick
Fletcher was seem with a cast on one of his hands covering his thumb.

Re: How bad are these Pats injured?

I think Fletcher is fine, plenty of players have played with casts on their wrists. Just no point risking further injury in a meaningless game.

....depends on whether they are upright or standing on their heads.....according to BB,earth's gravitational pull(non-hamstring),is a factor, also.:rocker:

Re: How bad are these Pats injured?

I'm pretty sure SPIKES IS NOT INJURED, or the injury may not be the biggest trouble...after all his twitter talk, he doesn't seem to be doing any therapy or anything with the patriots facilities .... and the other day, about 6 people included me wrote him "we rather see you get healthy and back on the field" and his respond was " you guys are so FAR OUT IN LEFT FIELD " so I'm pretty sure its not an injury.... maybe we wont see his as a pat this year

Re: How bad are these Pats injured?

As others have said, this is GREAT news. He can play with a cast on his hand, or rest it up for a few weeks. In either case, his injury should no longer be a concern.

Fletcher was seem with a cast on one of his hands covering his thumb.

Spikes is a big question mark.

Spikes has taken a hiatus from camp working on his new video career

The Pats never give out any info, beyond they are day to day BB will occasionally add, they are working to get back on the field we'll see when they are ready......it is what it is.

Re: How bad are these Pats injured?

BB told me that he can only comment on players that are on the field.

He must not trust you, then.

I'm sorry, I have no idea what this is supposed to mean.

Well yeah, obviously. But sometimes various reporters might pick up something or other, and there are many hoovers of info here that pass stuff along, so....

I think that we have overdone the dissing of the OP.

Obviously, there will no useful information from the patriots.

However, there are other sources. It IS useful to know that Fletcher is in a hand-cast, that Faulk and Dowling are at camp in sweats, and that Wendell, Brace and Deaderick are not.

It is also useful to know that we have zero information on Spikes.

......easy for you to say

Re: How bad are these Pats injured?

That's pretty damn disgusting, thanks.

The fact that we haven't seen Wright leads me to believe that he won't be playing this year-just pure speculation on my part, but I would rather see him go on IR and keep one of the younger DLineman until or if he can get back to playing.

Re: How bad are these Pats injured?

In order -------

Mike Wright? - Day to day....

Shane Vereen? Day to day....

Jermaine Cunningham? Day to day....

Brandon Spikes? Day to day....

Hope that helps.

LOL ....................................now that's funny.
