Said that it is nice when you buy a new end table, but sooner or later you have to address the fact that your roof is leaking. Said we have no pass rush and this is why we don't win in the playoffs recently. Sooner or later it has to be addressed. Also compared him to Parcells who starting getting full of himself and his press and wasn't very successful in the later part of his career. Let the Colin Cowherd bashing begin, but he did make a number of very good points.

If the pass rush isnt adressed today, we have the right to be extremely pissed off.

What were the good points?

Jesus.

What the hell is the point of criticizing BB for not addressing the pass rush when there are still 6 rounds to go, and we have 3 2nd round picks?

How about we wait and see until those picks are in before clutching the ole' pearls. For that very fact alone, I have a difficult time believing Cowherd made ANY good points.

Who is Colin Cowherd? And are you sure you aren't a Jets fan? This is like the 10th post you've made today ripping the Patriots.

We have 8 picks left

If we don't take an OLB then Belichick has either lost it as a HC or he has a Veteran OLB in place to be signed as soon as FA starts

Because I do not agree with not selecting a pass rusher in the 1st round when we had 2 1st round picks (one of which we got for trading a potential Hall of Fame pass rusher), I am a Jets fan? Don't think so. Just pointing out that being critical of not addressing the pass rush is not illogical and is being addressed even on national ESPN radio.

Pathetic Rob Ninkovich is a starter on this defense.

So the draft is already over and we haven't drafted a pass rusher??? F*ck!!

Last year everyone was ready to kill himself after day one and was singing and dancing after day 2.

"everyone" = me.

Let's get some Gronks and Spikes tomorrow and we'll all feel great.

Being critical of not addressing the pass rush before the draft is even over is most certainly illogical and reaches heights of stupidity I didn't even know were attainable.

It's Cowherds job to elicit responses like this. If you can't be a great analyst you have to stir the pot.

There is a LOT of draft to go. We still have a lot of picks. If the pass rush isn't addressed very soon then I'll go hmmmm...

We get it, you don't agree with the pick. Crying all day about one round in the draft isn't going to change anything. They have five picks today to address the pass rush. And the majority of the NFL seemed to agree with Belichick on the value of this year's rushers, because very few pass rushers were taken after the Patriots first pick. No one even selected a 3-4 OLB past 17.

Did Cowherd actually mention the OLBs the Pats passed on that aren't available today? Other than Miller (the Pats had no shot at), Quinn (the Pats may have tried to trade up for and couldn't get a deal), and Kerrigan; every 3-4 OLB is still on the board.

No doubt we need to improve the pass rush, but I think its overblown. In case anybody forgot we did end up 14-2, and we didn't lose to the Jets because of our pass rush. We all know Brady was awful, but we can lay a big part of the blame to the O-line.

I may be in the minority but addressing our aging O-line is our biggest priority.

You must be a wonderful human being. Really. :)

Well, if they don't address it today, the liklihood of addressing it in rounds 4, 5, and 6 are slim to none. Even today, they have to be lucky.

Why? Because I'm being critical of a fatuous argument? If that's the standard you're going by, then sure, I guess that I am.

Colin didn't say anything that several posters haven't griped about. And Colin loves Belichick. Talks highly of him and regards him as one of the best ever.

Sooner or later, Belichick needs to address our pass rush. It's been 3 years and counting that we've been awful at pressuring QBs.

1.) Why is that? Do we not pick in those rounds?

2.) Free agency
