No offense, but does anyone read these columns.

LOL at "no offense" and that follow-up. From what the stats tell me, and my editor, the weekly readership of Out-Takes is 10,000+. Not anything close to amazing, but I'm happy with it.

But hey, thanks for taking the time to actually post here and say something intended to make me feel bad that I get paid to write a football column and you don't.

But really....I'm jealous.

The only one you could possibly offend is the column's writer. And why would you? In fact, I read them. Of course, I'm not anyone.

vy, Thanks for reading. To those who don't want to, no skin off my back, but I hope you'll give it another try sometime.

Your Super Bowl weekend WEEKEND BUMP.

This one's for you, BadMoFo.

Patsox shows a bit of arrogance and ****iness in here sometimes, but he does have a job as a sports writer on the main team website that most of us would kill for to get a chance to do and get paid for it to boot

....there is some stupid jealousy in here,I suppose

And here I was thinking I had been better at hiding my arrogance and ****iness here the last couple years. Damn.

Thanks, PA. Hope you have a good weekend.

FWIW I enjoy the columns. And I have no problem with the threads linking us to them because I usually don't think about going to Patriots.com for articles.

Obviously Ian has no problem with them either. There are a lot worse threads than these over the course of a week. If some people don't care for your writing style fine; skip the thread and move on to one of the forty or fifty other ones that emerge over the course of a day or two and ignore this one.

I guess maybe some folks figure since your threads don't generate much of any commentary (other than this week) that nobody from here is reading them, but I doubt that's the case. I think it's just that the subject matter of those columns don't generate much debate the way a column on say, 'Pats should trade for this guy' or 'Pats should draft for this position' would.

I say keep writing and linking JC.

Thanks for the cheer-up, Ron. Appreciate any readers, critical or supportive. And, yes, Ian has been very encouraging and extremely hospitable. He rocks, as does the site.
