I think it's safe to say that we gave Brady too much of the credit during those first 10 games. And now that he's the highest paid player in the history of the NFL, it's more or less expected that he'll play to whatever unreasonable expectation we had for him, except that he can't (honestly, I'm not sure that anyone can).
He's the best QB in the NFL today, but if we thought that he could win without a superb cast of characters around him, then we were wrong. The rest of the guys aren't as good as we thought they were, neither are the coaches, and neither is Brady himself.
