The Jets need to realize that if they talk trash and don't respect the Patriots OFF the field, then TFB is going to talk trash and not respect you ON the field.

I noticed during the Bills and Dolphins games that Brady didn't get as fired up during those blowouts. I think it has mostly to do with the fact that it's not as personal between those two teams. Also, I don't think he does these things to teams he respects like the Colts and Steelers. I think the only two teams he really does it for are the Jets and Ravens (Although he did do it to the Steelers after Aaron Smith guaranteed a win).

I hear what you're saying but I also think that if Brady gets too wrapped up in the drivel coming out of that moron's mouth (pick a moron on that team, actually), the Jets win. The Pats should go about their biz and wait until the game is effectively over to start rubbing salt into the wounds. Getting all Pumped and Jacked and trying to "show" Cromartie or Ryan or any other idjut on that team before game is basically a W plays into their hands, in my opinion.

very true. I guess we shouldn't be surprised because LT whined when he was with the Chargers about the Pats. Yet it was alright for Merriman to do his lights out dance.

Who was it during that route, that intercepted the ball then mocked that stoopit airplane-run the JEST do when something goes their way? Was it McCourty?

Every word from the JEST since then has been a vain attempt to say as much.

That said, as much as fans would love it if the Pats came out of the tunnel all doing the airplane run, the time for it is at the end of the game, when you make the interception... that's what the JEST don't get. Job 1 is playing a football game.

I'm pushing 40 and have played sports all my life so I don't particularly subscribe to the woofing, etc. kids do today either.

With that said, if Brady goes up to Darelle Revis and says, "Go ahead and shut down Deion Branch, who do have on D than can pair up with Gronk, Wes, Hernandez and Woody?"...I have no problem with that. Mind games are part of sports.

The only time I've ever seen Brady focus on a player like that, was the game against the Steelers and the Safety Smith. In that particular instance it was just coincidence that the weak link in the defense was also the player with the big mouth.

I don't think we have anything to worry about with Brady and him trying to embarrass one player, unless that player is the weak link.

Well it is quite clear that Brady really needs to learn how to taunt classy from Braylon Edwards. It is clear that looking over at the opposing team bench and pointing is such an insult to the other team. But when Braylon Edwards does a dougie, it is just good clean fun.
