Going to game and was planning to fly home same night until somebody mentioned that it could be flexed to a night game. Hoping that the Pats are already at their max for prime time games. Anybody know?

Unfortunately, the limit is 5-6 games (up to three teams are allowed to appear six times each), and the Pats only have 4. :(

OTOH, FOX has that game, and may have chosen to protect it from NBC's poaching (since they normally only get two Pats games a year).

Thanks, Seems likely that Fox would protect it.

According to the NFL Flexible Scheduling guidelines, if it does get moved, we'll know 12 days prior to the game (Tuesday - 11/30)

I doubt it will get flexed due to the fact that the current scheduled game is PHI/DAL. Dallas is out of the playoff race, but it is a division game and Vick probably puts up decent TV numbers.

I believe the game is on CBS it's patriots @ bears. Remember its the away team's broadcasting channel that gets the game. Cbs=AFC Fox=NFC.

I don't know about this part but I'm pretty sure this game is on CBS

This is what I thought. I hope it is on CBS. We only get Lions' game on Fox at 1

Yes, the game is in CHI so CBS has it.

A minute ago I posted Fox had protected it, then I deleted my post when I realized the network was wrong.

But from what I have read CBS has protected it and it will not be flexed.

You're right, my bad.

OTOH, we can guess the Packers game ain't going anywhere. :)

Reiss:

" Tomorrow (Tuesday) is the deadline for the Patriots to find out whether their Dec. 12 game at Chicago -- a marquee game on the NFL schedule that week -- will be flexed out of its 1 p.m. ET kickoff. The game isn't likely to be flexed to 8:20 p.m., but a move to 4:15 p.m. ET seems like a reasonable possibility as it figures to be a CBS ratings draw and would reach more homes across the country."

I wouldn't care at all if it got moved to 4:15pm, I prefer that slot, but NOT the 8:20, but all indications are it will stay @ 1:00

As an out of towner I hope it gets moved to 4:15, right now I'm scheduled to see the Cin @ Pit game at 1PM. Does CBS even have the doubleheader for week 14?

Goodell may appeal to CBS to have Pats/Bears game moved to 4:15 PM because louder stadium could help Jets,...I mean Bears.

Kinda crappy if they keep eagles-cowboys on SNF. Cowboys suck they shouldn't get anymore primetime games this year.

This game is now a 4:15 start on CBS, no flex to Sunday Night. Per Reiss' twitter.

Ugh, I was really hoping that the afternoon soon would keep me at least a little warm!

Just awesome. The Saints have a home game at 4 so this will probably be blacked out here. Guess its online or a bar for me.
