Tom Brady breakout game vs Steelers

Brady has played good like I said, but I just think that he's made more mistakes and has been inconsistent. You can say what you want about his stats but there isn't a stat for inconsistency or for stupid throws. And some of you guys are so pessimistic it's funny.

you dont learn nothing from ''cleveland is easy''

And just to follow up, here's his stats with Moss and without Moss:

With Moss: 85-122 (69.7%), 911 yds, 7.47 ypa, 9 td, 2 int
W/O Moss: 81-139 (58.3%), 915 yds, 6.58 ypa, 5 td, 2 int

So, as one would naturally expect, the stats are down since the Moss trade.

I believe the Pats have scored the majority of their 8 rushing touchdowns (BJGE 4 and Woodhead 1) since the Moss departure. I'm not too worried about the passing touchdown totals.

Brady has had some huge games against the Steelers, including two road wins in the play-offs. So we know he can win on the road. I'm hoping for a big rebound performance.

I bet **** LeBeau still has nightmares about Brady beating the blitz and destroying that steelers secondary . I think they can keep mendenhall down. I don't think he's better than ray rice or adrian peterson who they contained. Hillis is friggin HUGE. I don't think mendenhall can do what he did.

That's what I said right?:rocker:

I've got to admit, I never would have agreed with this thread. This may be Brady's best performance ever

Brady's rating: 117.39341085271317

Wow, I wouldn't go that far. It was a great game but hardly his best ever.

Brady has been good this season but hasn't looked very much like the Tom Brady we used to know and love. He hasn't passed for as many yards or TD's as we thought he would so far and he hasn't really dominated any games this year. Tom played pretty bad vs the browns, there is no doubt about that. But it wasn't just Brady, the whole team just looked out of sync.

I think that he goes into the game next Sunday determined to win after that horrendous loss in Cleveland. Something is telling me that even against the great Steeler's Defense he has one of his best games yet. This whole team has showed that they have the ability to improve and learn form their mistakes and we all know that Bill isn't going to go easy on them this week. No, I am not on drugs.

Way to go CheeseMonkey!

Any more doubts about his passion for the game? He was more pumped and excited than I've seen him in a while. Tonight he was on fire, that spike after his QB sneak was electric to me. I dont know I just thought Brady looked better than I've seen him at any point since his ACL injury.

This is a perfect response. Those stats are fantastic and most teams without Manning and Brees would love a QB who puts up stats like that. Except for the 2007 season, those stats are very Brady-like. At this point, he has more than triple the amount of TD's-INT's and his third best QB rating. He's doing great with essentially 3 rookies (Hernandez, Gronk & Tate) and 3 hurt receivers (Welker, Edelman and Branch). I think we as Pat's fans are way too spoiled.

And now Brady is on pace for:

348-540 (64.5%), 3868 yds, 30 td, 7 int

That would be a ridiculously great line.

BTW, while to me Brady should be the leading candidate for MVP, someone else just made a *monster* move last night: Michael Vick.

Skip says Brady against the Steelers is better than the Vick game last night. I don't know why they are asking best all time when guys like Brady and Peyton have 6 TD games through the air and great games against tough defenses, Garrard could throw 5 TDs against the Skins.

It's not unexpected that everyone will overreact to Vick's performance last night and anoint him the GOAT. That's the way it works in this league....I remember Joe Buck actually uttering the phrase "the legend of Tony Romo" after a Thanksgiving comeback win. It is silly but par for the course.

But yeah, the Redskins may be the worst defensive team in the league. They don't have the talent for the scheme they are trying to run. And they just plain gave up last night.

One thing is clear. Vick is absolutely incredible in this offense. Gotta give Reid credit for not only having the guts to go after MV, but coaching him on how to be a productive QB in this system.

Not sure if he'll have the numbers of Brady but if the Eagles win the rest of their games and Vick puts forth performances like last night's, he'll deserve serious consideration.

Ever since the Eagles signed Vick to be a backup QB It was just hard to think of him as a back up. Not many teams were interested in signing him into some big contract after all of the crap he pulled but I still thought of him as a legitimate QB just because he was so unique.

Dude, you totally called this. Nice. Anything more the magic eight ball is telling you or is it mostly "Ask Again Later" ?

I haven't gotten any vibes about this weekend's game yet but do have a good feeling that it will be a tough match up for the Colts. I'll post up when I get another vision.
