guess he is a little mad

Logan Mankins on Steelers and some liberties players felt they took: "We don't care how long your hair is ...... "we're not going to let u do what u want to our quarterback."
via reiss twitter..

Mankins tweets??????

That's the most unexpected upset in the NFL this year!

edit: Ah, it was from a Reiss tweet.

Gotta love those pronouns

can we please not let him leave

I loved it when Light shoved Woodley after the late hit on Brady

Pay... this... man.

He's nasty. He's good. And hes a competitor.

Please sign him.

Whole OL was dominant. I mean dominant!! Kicked the crap out of them.

It's good to be a Patriots fan in Pennsylvania this week(patsfaninpa)!!!

I couldn't agree more!

They showed Matt Light on camera and he was also fired up in the last few minutes of the game. There was a ton of chippiness by the Steelers D and nothing was being called. Even after the play was over they were still going at it.

I'm really starting to lean firmly in the "sign him" camp. I'm liking the fire he's bringing.

I was one of the fans that thought to let Mankins walk if he doesn't want to take the money we offered him....After watching him play tonight though (I know it's just 1 game) the O-line was a machine....The biggest thing with Mankins in there is his familiarity with Light and Koppen and there non-verbal communication and still picking up the blitzes....We also did what no other team did against the Squeelers and that's run on them and ironically where did we run, to the left.....We aren't going to find a guy like this in the draft or in FA and the biggest thing is that he never misses games.....We need to pay this man and keep him around for a good 5 more years.....

One thing that needs to be said though is that Koppen played his ***** off tonight....he was manned up with one of the best NT's in the game and wasn't on roller skates....this allowed Brady time to step up in the pocket when the edge rushers would come around and this was HUGE!!!! I don't know who lit a fire cracker in Koppens ***** but if he can play like this the rest of the season then we will be money.....

Ditto to that, even in my end of the state......

Man, Brady had all DAY....it's good to be a Pats fan!

The O-line looked as good as ever last night and the thing I liked most.....they played with fire and attitude...

Great game by Mankins and the rest of the O-line!

Check out the pic from the SI site, the one with Head & Shoulders with his hands on Brady's head. According to Mankins that's what they were pissed off about.

Notes: Offensive line protects Brady in more ways than one

CSNNE.com Staff and Wire Reports

PITTSBURGH -- You saw Tom Brady's forceful spike of the ball after his third-quarter touchdown, of course.

You may not have seen what prompted it.

As Brady bulled his way into the end zone, Troy Polamalu and some of the other Steelers attempted to grind the Pats' quarterback's head into the turf. And that got the Pats' offensive linemen into the act, coming to their QB's defense.

"We don't care how long your hair is," said Logan Mankins (referring to Polamalu and not Brady). "You can't just do anything you want to our quarterback."

Brady, for his part, got to his feet, screamed two well-known words at the Steelers, and violently spiked the ball into the end zone.

Thanks, didn't know that happened. Wished Al and Cris had picked up on it.
