I don't know, what's the difference? He was a sixth round draft pick. Not sure why cutting a 6th round RB/WR is acceptable but cutting a 6th round specialist is not.Wow, Ingram is one of the most embarrassing draft picks under BB.
Missing on an RB/WR? It happens.
But if you're going to use a DRAFT PICK a long-snapper, he better be damn guaranteed to be the BEST long-snapper available who will contribute to your team for years.
Instead, he's so bad we're actually cutting him.
Yeh, what a waste of a pick. Should have drafted that kid Suh instead of a bum of a long snapper :bricks:Wow, Ingram is one of the most embarrassing draft picks under BB
Are you serious? He was a 6th round pick and he played great last year. BB isn't Nostradamus. He couldn't have predicted so much inconsistency after Ingram played so well in college and his first year as a pro. Get a clue.Wow, Ingram is one of the most embarrassing draft picks under BB.

Regardless of position, players drafted that late are no sure thing. The percentage that stick taken that late in the draft has to be fairly low.
Who had similar issues to Ingram a year ago. Long snapping is one of those jobs that only get you noticed when you screw up.
That's true. The sad part is he had a good year last year and as BB mentioned today about Mankins "I am sure it will be better going forward – I hope it will". But with Ingram it's not.

Pure Long Snappers are almost never drafted. Maybe one a decade if that.
He simply saying that it damn well be a sure thing if you're going to actually use a draft pick on one. And this is the reason teams don't draft them.
