One caveat: Tate couldn't break off the jam on that play originally. The corner had good initial coverage, and then a total brain fart. Tate made an awesome play on the scramble, but he really needs to improve against press coverage.

tate at this point can do pretty much anything randy could do this season, hes just not as fast, and doesnt draw as much coverage b/c hes not the same name

branch is a great intermediate wr for us, a threat weve really missed since gaffney left

so yes, good move, hopefully tate improves, and branch continues to build chemistry with brady

Moss/Tate is much better than Tate/Branch, and it really isn't that close. That being said, we have Tate/Branch so let's move on already. Some of you need to get over your blind hatred of the guy. His teammates love him and he helps out everyone around him, get over it and move on.

Anybody that watched the game could see what Randy Moss brings even without catching a ball. Did you see Harvin today and the space he got and the yac he had. Thats all because of Randy being on the field, same as Welker got when he was here.

TBH so have I. ESPECIALLY after that P.I. call and the ball was RIGHT next to him. He is really concerned about this lockout, contract, or whatever it is. Still nonetheless, I would take Randy opposite Brandon Tate, rather than Branch.
