I enjoy the 4pm game usually. You get to watch the Game Mix for all the 1pm games, eat dinner at halftime, and when the game is over you only have to deal with 3 hours of the doomsayers on here complaining about something; instead of the 6 or 7 hours of negativity after 1pm games.

However, today having a 4pm game sucks because of the trick or treating from 6 to 8.

Every time I think about how nice it used to be to have all those 1:00 games, I remember that was because the teams weren't always showcase quality. (Plus we always got Beasley Reece). Guess this is the price we pay for the BB/TB era being so good. I'm savoring every minute.

National fans must be more sicker (sicker?) of Pats than ever. Seems like NEP have been involved in the showcase game every week this year except v. the Bills. Tip to the rest of the country: Get used to it.

I usually hate 1:00 pm games because I like to be productive on the weekends. But today I'm hungover and feel like laying on the couch all day. 4:15 cant come soon enough.

I was never a big fan of the 5pm games (that's the Atlantic time zone I'm in) but the last year or so, I really started to enjoy them. There's always more games on at 2pm so as a fan I can watch more and it makes the time go by faster in anticipation for the Pats game.

I'm kind of glad that I get to watch the Jets today. This is my only extensive time other than the Week 2 meeting with the Pats. I want to see what makes them so good. Although I think Green Bay can pull it out, I do think their defense is amazing. They just fly to the ball, whether it's a run or pass. At times, it looks like there are more than 11 defenders on the field.

Offensively, they're still very conserative mostly. You can see where they pick and choose when to open things up for Sanchez. They're not turning the ball over this year, with a league-low four turnovers. GB is playing them tough so we'll see what happens.

Beasley Reese... now there is someone who could have easily forgotten about, thanks for the really bad memories.

The price for being considered one of the best in the league..

The good thing is that this is not a sun nite or mon nite game.. too long a wait for that.

When I lived in New Brunswick, the 5pm games annoyed me something fierce until we got into November/December. By then, it was too cold at 5pm to think about doing much else other than watch football.
