Patriots/Vikings wearing throwbacks this weekend.

Just a head's up for those who don't remember the announcement. The Patriots will be wearing the 70's/80's red throwback uniforms with Pat Patriot for this weekend's game against the Vikings. They will also be wearing them on Thanksgiving when they play the Lions.

I could go for once a year. The novelty isn't getting old for me either. Everytime I see those unis, there's great nostalgia. Grogan to Morgan was a huge part of me becoming a sports fan, just love those unis.

I bought a 70's style mesh hat with Pat Patriot for the 2007 Super Bowl, and I ripped it off in anger and chucked it down into the basement in the middle of the second half of the game. Yesterday I was digging deep in my basement through our stock of cedar shakes when I found the thing AFTER 3 years!!!!

It's actually the 1984-1992 uniform. Throughout the 70's & 80's, The Patriots wore three different home uniforms and four different away uniform combinations. So, maybe a little specification was in order as to which version they'll be wearing. Thanks.

I don't mind the red jerseys. At least our throw-backs are decent looking. Some of the other ones (the Jets come to mind) are hideous.

It's all about $$$$$$$ ...a marketing ploy to have fans purchase new releases of the same jersey,hats ect: that they wore 20 years ago

Bottom line is teams that wear the old uniform is going to increase old uniform merchandise sales.....a blind man can see this

Its all marketing and fills pockets of Kraft and every owner who is going to use these throwbacks.
