To me, this is the definition of this team.....

They are making every attempt to get to 40 points and the game was over a long time ago.

While the Colts were trying a 2 point conversion despite being up by 19 at the end of the 3rd quarter, moments later the Redskins are desperate enough to try a 4th and 4 at midfield.

I coach kids. I know that this is unsportsmanlike.

This is why the Colts lack the neccesary character to win a championship in the NFL.

Colts throwing the ball ahead by 19 with 6 min left...

Another example of how many garbage time yards that Peyton and his receivers get - Ahead by an insurmountable lead of 33-14 with less than 6 minutes in the 4th quarter and driving inside of the Redskins 40,on a 2nd and 6 peyton is throwing the ball and was appeared to be a hurry up offense formation!- If this was a BB team we probably would have ran the ball forgetting the pass whether it was for a first down or not - There is no reason to throw it up when by that much, probably wanted to pad Adam's stats a bit too...

We should combine the thread I just posted. My thoughts exactly.

LOL.....Absolutely!!

But seriously.....I find it unbelievable that Petyon is audibling (spelling?) at the line to get in another pass play at this point....

There is no sense to this...its unsportsmanlike and will come back to haunt the Colts....

I'm not really bothered by it, simply because I know, come playoff time...

I know this is different than high school. But give me a break here. I can't believe the league cater's to these Colt's,especially when they pull crap like this. Whoever is calling the play's needs to be put in a room with Albert Haynesworth for 2 minutes or so.

Doesnt matter to me.

Belichick ends the game with knees and running when he has an easy shot at another TD.

Colts meanwhile do all they can to boost their statistics. Its unclassy.

Another reason why we're better than them.

Manning calls most of his own plays...nuff said.

How are the Patriots better than the Colts this year? I may agree with you but 6-0 is 6-0. Undefeated. And boy can the Colts run.

Through 6 Weeks

2005: ypc 3.7 (avg)
2006: ypc 4.7 (avg)

2005: ypg 101.5 (avg)
2006: ypg 111.3 (avg)

2005: 25.0 carries per game (avg)
2006: 27.0 carries per game (avg)

I also think this is the reason why the dolts don't succeed in the playoff's--but for a different reason. I think what this shows is the dolts inability to adapt to the game. They will do what they do no matter the situation they are in or the time of year. Great teams can adjust the little things to work games in their favor---while the dolts do their thing no matter what's going on. Kind of reminds me of a line from "Remember the Titans" where Denzel says something like " I only run 5 offensive plays: just like novicaine, give it time and it will work"

On a side note i only saw the first half and the refs were completely ballwashing the dolts again. A couple obvious ones were: the "non-td" to harrison; it wasn't close but the ref immediatly put his hands up signaling a TD and nodding his head. Then the personal foul for hitting PM low. the dolts O-lineman pulled the DE into him but they give the dolts 15yards to continue the drive.

We've all seen this story before though and we know how the ending goes!:D

Tony Dungy called for the two point conversion attempt.

Also... 5 runs, 4 passes (3 if you dont count Manning spike) on the final drive that started with TEN MINUTES to go in the 4th quarter. Isn't the point of the game to milk the clock as best as possible? Who says with 10 minutes to go Washington can't mount a comeback? They only lost by 14 when all was done.

Sorry maybe I should rephrase it for you...another reason why we are more classy. Stupid Peyton doing anything and everything to pass for TD's in the fourth quarter. I just don't get it. Addai running very well and you just keep passing. What a bunch of bull****. Typical of an unclassy team.

Read my previous post. The drive started with ten minutes to go. Sorry but you don't just run three times in a row and punt with that much time left.

Look i will give the dolts their due--they have won every game which is what matters. I just don't see a change this year from years past, which still leads me to believe that they won't go anywhere come january.

lol. I think the Colts are the best team in the league right now. At least better than the Bears but they dont need to show off Peyton Manning, I think we have seen it before.

Wooaah! And Ego head didn't change the call....oh, thats right, it put the ball in HIS hands again. What was I thinking. I dont think I need to tell you that Manning calls most of his own plays and frequently changes the ones sent in by the sidelines by the coaches. Or do I need to remind you of the Squealers game again.... At least he wont have to throw his line under the bus after this game.:violent:

With the running D that's ranked last, they are not the best team in the league. Record wises, yes they are up there with the Bears. A high powered running attack with a good passing game will manage the Colts.

You will never hear toughness and the Indianapolis Colts in the same sentence. They did the same thing to Houston last year (maybe the year before?) The fish rots from the head down..Napolian to Dumbo to Shakey.
