Rumor: Moss to Vikings?

I'll forgive your stupidity as I'm sure it can't be helped, but Brady will not play out that contract...

So what you're saying is that Brady has been lying everytime he says that he wants to play until he's 40 in interviews. Or even last night when he said he hopes to be here for many more years.

glazer says they have been talking since beginning of the season...only now the talks have heated up

Lets not forget TaylorPrice. He may also be a keeper, once he is healthy:.......

Yup. Fell behind due to school commitments but maybe he's come along. Obviously not Moss level, but maybe enough.

Honestly I am not buying this. Glazer says something and then everything hits the fan. I've seen plenty of rumors that gain this steam and then they are totally false.

I dont think it matters to BB. He has a locker room full of young players that hes trying to install team first attitude and no one person is bigger than the team. If you play as a team great things will happen. If he thinks Moss will in any way distract from his message he'd ship him out for a gross of footballs.
Im not saying this is what's happening Im just saying BB has done some head scratching things in the past and they usually turn out to be the correct move for the team.

If Moss is gone there is no way this team wins more than 4 games the rest of the season

How do you know that? Are you friends with him? Has he confided you that little piece of information? Don't call people dumb when what you're saying doesn't have any logical reasoning behind it.

Everything on this board is conjecture.

But this isn't about football, It's about being a student of life and people and coming to a conclusion.

Brady, being who he is, will not play at age 36 or 37, especially for a team that at that point WILL NOT BE COMPETITIVE....and they won't be.

He's not Favre...needing to cling to football forever. He has greater aspirations outside the game.

I form an opinion on what I see.

Moss was pissed last night because he was not getting the ball and contrary to propaganda....was open and should have seen more balls go his way.

I call bull****. We passed up Dez Bryant...if he knew he'd ditch Moss, he'd draft a WR or two.

He drafted Hernandez! And Taylor Price!

Hernandez is legit in my book.

Is Felger that guy who said Moss was a "D.O.G. DOG!!!" when he first came to New England? I don't know, he seems a little personally biased to me.

Felger just claimed that the Pats offense will be better without Moss. He regurgitated the whole "Tom used to throw to the open guy, not anymore" mantra and tried to say that getting rid of Moss will turn Brady back to that guy. Really? So your telling me that Brady no longer looks for the open guy the DAY after Moss had ZERO receptions and just ONE pass attempt? I really wish Felger would get hit by a bus.

oh he openly hates moss...we saw what happened in 2006 when branch was traded and branch is no moss.. At least we had a running game then... this woild really spell disaster for the offense..

Last night Brady said he'd like to play here forever

It was not a bad dream son. It was a wonderful revelation you had and once you wake up tomorrow you will realize that Moss's legacy is making him out to be a super star now, which is by no means true.

Go back to sleep young one.:D

Really? You're going to just discredit everything Randy's done since joining the Pats? Cut it out. Nobody has more receiving touchdowns since 2007.

Those claiming the Pats will be better off without him are in denial.

They get a 16-0 trophy now? I like the one the Giants have better.

Looks like they had zero answer when it came to making an adjustment, which is my point.

Exactly. It wasn't a problem with Moss. From what I saw, Moss got open quite a lot in the SB. The problem was a lack of blocking and likely poor play calling.

One thing I'll say, though: I've never been critical of trading down in the draft, but if we trade Moss for a first round pick Belichick better go get us some goddamn play makers on both sides of the ball. No trading down for value, I want difference makers.

lol

it amazes me how many of you Patriot "fans" can't even remember how you won your Superbowls to begin with.

Playmakers? If you call Antowain Smith and David Givens playmakers...

yeah, getting rid of the WR that draws double coverage 90 percent of the time is a good thing for the offense.

Now Welker gets that attention, taking away Brady's binky. So then we're down to relying on Edelman and Tate to be difference makers at WR. Care to stake the rest of the season on that?

Didn't think so.
Welker already gets double teamed, but there's no doubt that losing Randy hurts the offense in a number of ways. Especially in the red zone.

No...he's telling the truth.

But by chance he does retire citing wanting to spend more time with his family...worrying about his long term health...you'll buy it hook line and sinker.

God people are so naive.

Stop. Just stop. Past BB/Pats histrory is not on your side.

So the guy was stupid for thinking Brady would play out a contract he just signed, while your OPINION holds credibility allowing you to resort to name calling? Aren't you special.

And regarding Moss being open, were you at the game or do you have access to the coaches' game tape? Just curious, 'cause us mere fans can't actually see 20+ yard routes develop down the field on TV, so we don't really have such firm and confident opinions on the matter.

Percy Harvin has had migraines, injury concerns etc. How about Percy Harvin for Moss straight up?

He was diagnosed with sleep apnea and is now using a cpap machine. He no longer takes meds for migraines.
