Why is it ok to overreact for a win but not to when they lose

It was a 27 point blowout on the road win against a good divisional rival on Monday Night Football.

RBs looked great, minus Fred Taylor & Kevin Faulk
Defense played better
Dominating second half
Won a road game
Won a game in Miami, Brady played solid

All of the above were major concerns. The board is very happy, you should be happy too. Was the first thought that came to your head really "Man, we're too happy..."

most people... I cannot believe people even said they were expecting a loss but a win would be nice before the game... wow what kind of fans are these? I understand what brady said about jets fans being louder than Pats fans.

Its prolly fans like me that have seen the pats win about 10 times in miami over the last 30 years. While i wasn't on here saying they wouldn't win i had my doubts because of all that past history.

Well said. There's nothing positive to gain from dumping ice water on everyone's joyous celebration unless they're trolling or just really like being bitter and cynical about everything.

If anybody's a Pats fan tonight and they can't enjoy tonight's win, they should stop following sports altogether because it's no longer fun at that point.

A great win and we go to the bye week happy and satisfied but work has just begun,I want to see this defense toe to toe with the big dogs in the next month.....Pittsburgh and Baltimore

Now win just 1 against those 2 teams will be gratifying...I just don't know if we will yet

Just do what I and many other optomistic fans do - always pick the Pats to win, cause that's how I roll. For the record, I said Pats 28-21, and I'm so glad I was way off.

I'm confused now. Earlier you called it embarrassing that some people were expecting a loss but hoping for a win. You expect a win every week. Now you're saying we'll obviously lose again this season.

We all hope for a win every week. Sometimes, we expect a loss. When they win anyways, we're as happy as anyone. Sounds like you think that the only way to be a 'true fan' is to never actually have an opinion.
