I just saw the segment on espn (which not surprisingly was preceded with a rehashing of spygate, as well as mention of the Jets' two most recent victories over the Pats), and in my opinion the comments by both Brady and Ryan were rather benign.
The only enlightening fact that I came away with was that over the entire history of their franchise, the Jets have won the division just four times: twice about forty years ago with Weeb Ewbank, once with Parcells, and once on a three-way tie breaker under Herm Edwards. We're all aware that the Jets have only one championship, which happened before most football fans and (I believe) all current NFL players were born, but I didn't realize their lack of success extended to so few division titles as well.
