hate to break it to you, but he was drafted in the 6th.

Some competition for Hoyer

Hoyer? Brady better watch out as Zac's overview has all the baggage that a skinny QB from Michigan had. :D

sorry, but starks was drafted

As an UDFA, perhaps Danario Alexander?

Zac is a better QB prospect than people are giving him credit for. He has a good not great arm, very athletic, smart. Struggled after losing his binky White, watch the texas game, he was awesome. Did well at the Senior bowl.

I believe you mean Bryant. Blair White was Brian Hoyer's binky. ;)

could Deadrick make an impact as a 7th rd comp pick? I know it sounds odd but I could see him getting snaps.

Brandon Deadrick story:
So apparently he is coming back to his apartment late at night and someone pulls a gun in an attempted robbery. Why you select a 6-4 315 pound DL is an interesting question. So he grabbed for the gun and was shot in the arm, through to the hip. Yes, he played that week.

Brandon Deadrick said:
“I got an opportunity to do what I love (Saturday night) and I was healthy enough to do it,” he said after the game. “So I went out there and helped my teammates. I love my teammates. I’ve been with them for five years now, and we’ve bled together and sweat together all through the offseason program.”

From Reiss on Twitter:

Clearly, the Patriots' last two selections made to appease @wilfork75, who previously joked that his preference in draft was all d-linemen.

:p

Deadrick is a great pick for a late seventh rounder. I thought he woulf go in the fifth round or so.

"Mr. Irrelevant" time...

could deadrick get snaps even as a 7th rd comp? :D

Obviously preparing early for an insanity defense.

And "Mr. Irrelevant" is...Tim Toone, WR Weber State

Why no running backs?
Didn't really need a RB this year, at least not as much as other positions.

2011 will be a whole different story though. As of this moment I'd have to think a RB will be taken early next year, especially if they don't trade for a RB or sign a free agent RB prior to the draft.

WR and RB with the early picks and with late picks on OL support...

It is shocking to me that nobody took a flier on LaGarrett Blount, even with the temper and attitude.

my binky Freddie Barnes is undrafted too...

Not much on Cade Weston, but he's a 6'5" DT, which makes me think more lottery picks to throw at the DE position.
