Draft Day 3 Thread

:rocker: to all those with angst over the three florida picks(so far),i have watched every down in every gator football game for the last four years;
1. there is a reason bb likes and visits with urban meyer, he pulls in TEAM players who grow each year.
2. these guys have football smarts and are coachable.
3. you wont read headlines about off-field issues or character with these three.
4.florida has won how many nat.l titles in the past four years(2) and were contending this year. it never hurts to have winners who know what it takes to win and stay on top.
5. looking how much florida has reloaded for the next year(s), i hope we get alot more gators. their value is they will outplay your(and the experts)pre-draft expectations. you'll see.

Hernandez is a 6-foot-2, 245 pound New England native -- he grew up in Bristol, Conn. and was the state's Gatorade player of the year out of Bristol Central. He was the Mackey Award winner last fall with the Gators.

BB always liked using TE's and I'm so psyched we've got some good ones. We're loaded with more picks to come-lots. Love this pick, love this draft! And I love how the team's shaping up overall.

PS: Jets moved up thinking they'd thwart us but BB had this pick in immediately! So Rexie, who's the psy-ops master now?

Thanks, thought he had more carries than that.

Isn't Dwyer a player that would not do well at all behind our OL, if you thought Maroney waits too long, Dwyer would be similiar.

Now if Dwyer can get a head a steam he looks great, but would not think that happens here.

The Colts pick some no name.

Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, and Jerry Hughes scare the hell outta me though.

Lonyae Miller or Charles Scott would be interesting low round runningbacks.

Colts take McClendon (OG)
20 more picks till our 5th. Im guessing we might suprise some people and take a Punter that we really like

hell, why not at this point? BPA, need, not necessarily value but not a lot of "needs" can be filled from here on out. (Right?)

Aaron Hernandez in the 4th. BB's set of tight ends is complete.

Can't say I'm sorry to see him leave the division. What's the asking price? Still a second rounder?

Jets looks like they just picked up someone who has the same abilities as Leon in Joe McKnight. I was hoping maybe we could grab that kid.

So does anyone else want Deji Karim or Freddi Barnes soon?

We're now into round 5. Some really good value still out there...

O'brien Schofield just went at the end of round 4. He was someone I liked in the later rounds almost as a redshirt type of pick...

Karim!! Super-fast, runs low and compact, catches well on screens and in the flat, and is a weapon on returns. Too much repetition right now in the RB corps.

This draft is so deep it's insane; we really can't miss.

I want Freddie in the 7th for the practice squad. That dude has amazing hands. No separation speed, but NCAA-record 155 catches in one year... unreal

Hoomanawanui to the Rams. Excellent couple of picks for them so far today who I was hoping would both be Patriots.

indy just picked a no name OL in the 4th who would have been an udfa. (how do YOU know that?).

obrien schoenfeld? too short to play olb and a busted acl to boot in the 4th?

lots of head scratchers, guys poorly ranked who would seem to have been available later. Of course, I don't have perfect info...

maybe dixon is too slow to gather speed, that's what the knock is on him...he's a gamer though, very tough to bring down and always falls for another yard or two.

ricky sapp must be wondering what happened? there were some who said we should just draft him in the 1st once upon a time.

Forgot about Myron Rolle. We don't need him but he would be a great pick in the 5th for any team.

Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, and Jerry Hughes scare the hell outta me though.

As someone who watches a great deal of Tennessee games, I can tell you that Jacques is extremely underrated.
