There's a few low round draftable guys, I imagine we'll toss a #6 or #7 at one, sign a veteran FA and let them compete. Belichick doesn't seem to value Punters that much.
It does make a lot of sense that a punter will be drafted with one of those 7th rounders. It would be nice to find a young punter for once, instead of always having Bill's favorite retread.
I'd expect wes welker to take up the punting duties when he is healthy again, bill really values versatility. Not to mention anything about the extra active roster spot this opens up.
That is assuming he wants to use one or any of them on a punter in the first place...there will be plenty of UDFA punters on the market of good quality that he could bring in for a long looksie...
