New York held a pep rally in Times Square for Gang Green to send off the Jets to Indianapolis to try to beat the Colts and keep flying to Miami for Super Bowl XLIV.
It was green all over on Thursday, January 21 with fans looking forward to the AFL (sic) championship game on Sunday
Fireman Ed did his famous J-E-T-S Jets Jets cheer,
the Flight Crew was there, and Mayor Michael Bloomberg renamed Manhattan Nevis (sic) Island for now...just in case the team makes it to the big game for the first time since Super Bowl III.
And the fans were wild, no matter what age!

I will neverr ever root for a Colts win, but to see them stop all this NY nonsense would be awesome.

If it's Minn. against anyone that won't be good. I think I'd root for them over the Colts but the Jets over the Vikings. I'd root the Saints over either.

One reason I don't mind seeing the Jets beat the Colts: Their fanbase is collectively so stupid & boorish that whatever joy they take in victory is offset by the fact that they have to wake up the next day and continuing living their existence as some reject off of MTV's Jersey Shore.
