Marshall Faulk on NFL - "Don't be surprised if McDaniels does BB a favor"

Re: OT: Marshall Faulk on NFL - "Don't be surprised if McDaniels does BB a favor"

If it's for a 1st Rounder, I'd rather get Calvin Johnson then Brandon Marshall. But Marshall will not come cheap and whoever thinks otherwise is fooling themselves.

Probably a 2nd and a 5th and James Sanders (or someone else defensively) for Marshall. Way too much to give up.

Re: OT: Marshall Faulk on NFL - "Don't be surprised if McDaniels does BB a favor"

Just what this team that just lost another core leader needs...

Re: OT: Marshall Faulk on NFL - "Don't be surprised if McDaniels does BB a favor"

Why on earth would the Pats want someone as immature as Marshall on the team? You guys who want him have seen his antics in practice from training camp right? There's a difference in what Marshall has done and the situations guys like Moss and Dillon came from. Taking Marshall from JD is a favour by BB, not the other way around.

Re: OT: Marshall Faulk on NFL - "Don't be surprised if McDaniels does BB a favor"

I would give up a #2 plus for Marshall. He would be an absolute stud on this team and BB would get all the respect from him that Josh didn't. The other players would see to that. He is a prima donna, but he's a WR......you can count on 1 hand the number of them who aren't.

It's like some of you missed the drama of this season...

These aren't the leadership laden Patriots of the past. Brady needs guys he can count on to be all in through thick and thin who will match his effort level, not motivational projects who put more on his plate. Ditto Belichick.

My dream would be a first for Fitz.

But that will never happen.

Re: OT: Marshall Faulk on NFL - "Don't be surprised if McDaniels does BB a favor"

I'd welcome Marshall here with open arms.

He's worth a 1st even with his attitude.

Re: OT: Marshall Faulk on NFL - "Don't be surprised if McDaniels does BB a favor"

Marshall has been nothing but trouble since he came into the league. Yes, he is immensley talented, but he was at odds with Shanahan and now McDaniels. He has had a lot of off field issues from he and his cousin being allegedly involved in instigating the shooting that killed Darrent Williams, several domestic violence cases with two different girlfriends, 11 different other calls to William's house for domestic disturbance (one for another domestic violence incidence), a DUI, and slipping on a McDonald's bag that caused a serious injury to his arm while "wrestling" with family members.

The guy is one offense away from an indefinite suspension. He has never followed orders. He has a long history of abusing women. He is a really bad character. Don't want him. Don't need him.

I would rather go after Aquan Boldin (who might be up for a trade) or Vincent Jackson or Miles Austin. I think Calvin Johnson is off the table. No way does Detriot trade their best player when they are trying to rebuild and he is young.

Corey Dillon/Randy Moss board.

Corey Dillon/Randy Moss board.

Why is it that whenever a scumbag like Brandon Marshall comes up, people bring up Corey Dillon and Randy Moss. Moss has never had the vile past that Marshall had. Dillon had some of it, but that was mostly in his precollege days and seemed to have straightened up his life by the time he came here. Neither player is comparable to Marshall.

If Marshall wasn't a talented football player, he would probably be in jail right now.

Both Moss and Dillon had their problems when they came here, but they were in the NFL twice as long as Marshall has when they came here and neither had the list of on field or off field problems that Marshall has already racked up in his NFL career.

Not happening ... I'd rather pay Wilfork and Mankins.

Yeah of course

Re: OT: Marshall Faulk on NFL - "Don't be surprised if McDaniels does BB a favor"

I'm with those who don't want Marshall here. He will not be the no. 1 guy. He will not be happy if Brady only throws it 5 times to him all game. I'd rather get Miles Austin.

Brandon Marshall is a no-brainer. The guy is a game-changer.

ship two 1sts, or whatever is needed, to Detroit for Calvin Johnson.
I didn't know Denver and Detroit were going meet in the superbowl this year????

I thought we told you to stay away from the JB at this time of night, space.

Re: OT: Marshall Faulk on NFL - "Don't be surprised if McDaniels does BB a favor"

We can't afford to be spending that kind of money on a person like him. If we're so desperate for a good WR, there will be other cheaper options.

For those who don't see the need to spend money on the defense, and wish to trade our 1st rd picks for the offense, here's another option;

DeAngelo Williams

I doubt the Panthers can keep both RBs, and If we're going to get Brady some more weapons, i would prefer a stud RB. We already have 2 starting WRs, and some potential depth. Interior OL, and the defense is where i would prefer Bill spend his money, but i'd give up a pick for one of those Panther RBs

Stewart is better...I'd rather have him...

Re: OT: Marshall Faulk on NFL - "Don't be surprised if McDaniels does BB a favor"

I don't want Brandon Marshall anywhere near this team. I don't even want him owning a replica Patriots jersey. Marshall is a team-killer, a locker-room cancer of the 1st magnitude, in a similar vein to what TO used be like.

His talent is worthless if it's always all about himself, all about his numbers, his catches, because that type of me-first attitude is anathema to the Patriots ideology.

What a lame idea, from an incredibly lame ex-running back.

Re: OT: Marshall Faulk on NFL - "Don't be surprised if McDaniels does BB a favor"

people are missing the point. whatever marshall faulk says about the pats is moronic. he always seems to be way off base. though he is consistent.

Could not agree more, somehow this tool got a nice contract and has little to offer on any level...
