Too bad, I think he's still got some left in the gas tank and is our best pass rusher. Why Bill refused to have him rush the QB and instead used Burgess is a great mystery. We basically signed this guy to the largest Patriot FA contract to cover TEs and RBs.
So now that he's openly questioning Bill, does Bill really have a choice but to banish him for the rest of the year? If Bill doesn't, then my respect for Bill will be a notch lower.
Sure Bill should have AD sit out just to win a point. The playoffs are not worth anything after all.
Terry Glenn was our best WR this one year I recall, but BB didn't take his sh*t. I think we won the superbowl that year or something?
Not saying I agree with sitting AD, but if it was warranted and he was really a big locker room cancer then I'd support it.

I know, you'd almost think BB was making this move in a year after the Pats blew a huge lead and a Super Bowl appearance in a Conference Championship game because they couldn't cover a TE.
Screw 'em I say, what TE could ever hurt you anyway???
you blaming everything on AD? AD is killing this team? think again
AD is pats.com cancer, not a locker room cancer. Belichick never coached Glenn in his rookie year. That was Parcells.
BTW, veterans for the patriots have always been treated differently from rookies.
Disagree. Adalius Thomas is openly and blatantly anti Bill Belichick. Not sure I have ever seen such an overpaid attitude problem wearing a Patriot uniform.
You talk about being professional. Do you feel they treated you professionally?
“That’s a personal thing. He’s the head coach. He makes all the calls. So whether you agree with it or not, you just roll with him. That’s why they pay him to be the head coach. He has that title. He doesn’t have to have a reason to send me home. You just have to abide by it. I was told to go home. I went home, enjoyed my day off, put my toes up in the air, and relaxed.”
Are you concerned that this is at all a distraction as this team is fighting for a playoff berth?
“I think it’s more than what it should be. Your focus should be on Carolina, but instead, it’s on this whole topic of being late. It will be determined on Sunday after the game. If we play well, it will be the whole great thing. If we don’t, you guys will kind of come back to this whole thing and say it was a distraction. So you might as well write it now, what you think it is. Don’t be 20-20 hindsight. Don’t do that now.”
What is wrong with people here? What did AD do now?
I like the way he treats reporters, he doesn't give them any respect.
Reiss tried his best to get him to say something but he said nothing yet again but here we have people reading into it.
The Jetsons comment was very funny and these two as well, especially the second one.
Ted Johnson talked about being late once in his career with Belichick. He knew what his options and consequences would be. He chose to miss the entire meeting rather than walk in in front of his teamates and HC and never even considered making the call that he could have avoided had he left earlier... Cost him $5K and he was down with that. But that was in another day and time and on another team unlike the one AD thinks he signed onto.
Somebody should have asked AD how many times he's called and just been fined...
Felger kept playing the clip from the postgame locker room after the first Miami game yesterday. Belichick congratulated them on a hard fought game and warned them there were more to come including Indy next and therefore they would be in tomorrow...You could hear a chorus of groans in the background, so he reiterated we will be in tomorrow - last week was your week off...
Felger's issue with the clip was he couldn't imagine that scenario happening a couple of seasons ago. Said it was antithetical to everything this team has stood for in the Belichick years. And he was right.
You think that BB signed Thomas to a bazillion dollar contract because Eric Alexander couldn't cover Dallas Clark in one game? I don't recall, but were TE's and RB's killing us in the passing game that entire year?
There are always other options, and they have needed AD to rush the QB more during his tenure here, pure and simple.
I was told to go home. I went home, enjoyed my day off, put my toes up in the air, and relaxed.” ............and turned on the Cartoon Network and watched the Jetsons...
Belichick=Mr. Spacely.
The Jetsons....LOL.
