I didn't. I just heard Phil Simms (I think) mention that he was out. I also believe I heard him mention that Vollmer had come back in, but I never really watched closely enough to notice.

I dont know the exact details of that but its possible that Vollmer was not diaognosed with a concussion during the game

Maybe it's Patriots policy that any player suffering a "head" injury is held out for a week, see Neal last week eventhough Neal said he could play.

A regular season game is not that important to risk a career over. If he is suffering from a concussion, he should not play.

I would keep him out of this game and the next, hes potentially way too valuable to the team(not to mention his loved ones) Concussions are no joke they are a brain injury.Put the big German on shutdown lest he be blitzkreiged and end up a waterhead like big Ben

This seemingly makes sense if that's their policy but then why did the Pats let him come back into the game? Mis-diagnosed the injury at the time? Like the mystery of the meaning of life, we'll never know.

Yes, they will keep him out and maybe they will do the same with Neal. I agree this is a new area and it see,ms that there are a lot of behind the scenes changes in rules that they may come up with....like running backs putting the helmets down and using one's head as Peterson did a lot a few games ago.

Not that this was remotely the same thing, but where head injuries are concerned, what happened to Natasha Richardson should have gotten everyone's attention.

I've heard from a pretty good source that Vollmer will be playing tonight and that Kaczur will be a game time decision.
