Vollmer has a "head" injury so I am going to go out on a limb and say he is concussed. With concusions being in the news lately - and with all the ill long term effects that multiple concussion may have - he's not practicing. My guess is that he will play Monday Night.

That's too bad. I think he is better than Light already. I hope he makes the trip and plays.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could go through one year as healthy as other teams?

Will never happen as long as the team plays on green asphalt fields like Gillette and the Meadowlands.

However, I have to say that if Vollmer is out on Monday, which increasingly looks like the case, we could be in real trouble. Light has not played in weeks even if he's healthy. LeVoir is a capable backup but that's it. This is a pretty surprising development for Vollmer since he returned to the game after his injury and played for a while.

I think we're in bigger trouble if Neal doesn't play. I would trust a rusty Matt Light over Connolly taking over for Neal. Brady is good at moving in the pocket to get away from a pass rush coming from the outside. Up the middle? Not so much. On top of that, Kaczur has not looked so hot taking on pass rushers in Neal's absence. I sincerely hope he plays this week or I think we'll be going into Miami in a dog fight for the division.

Well, SeaBass got injured vs the Jets in the 1st half leaving the game. In the 2nd half I watched him work out on the sidelines before they let him back in the game where he acquited himself well. Given that, I say he plays Monday night.

We must have watched a different Vollmer in the second half. I saw him struggling mightily.

Hopefully Fred gets some practice time next week, and maybe 3-4 snaps in that game, then back full strength by the panthers/bills game.

Seems like all of a sudden concussions are not only in the headlines a lot, but they're also happening to our guys more.
