OT: Dolphins vs. Panthers

Ricky Williams remains my favorite non-Patriot in the NFL.

Guy is 32 years old and still getting it done.

Yeah, well Ronnie Brown remains one of my favorite non-Patriots, soon to be Patriots in the NFL... if that makes sense.

Watched this game last night. Ricky Williams made up for his missing backfield partner Ronnie Brown. Everytime I see Chad Henne I am more impressed and I know he is not throwing that much but I just love how calm the guy is and he doesn't make bad decisions.

On the other side of the ball I couldn't understand why they kept throwing the ball. I mean Delhomme was off target a lot of the time and DeAngelo Williams looked like he could go all the way to the house a couple of times when he got the ball. I blame the playcalling for their loss last night. I mean its shocking that DeAngelo only got 13 carries last night when he was averaging 9.4 yards a carry and that included getting stopped twice for 1 yard losses.

Beware the Miami Dolphins. The same scenerio as last year is

beginning to occur. When the teams meet on December 6th,

the Patriots will probably have a 7-4 record (loss to Saints) and

the Dolphins a 6-5 record (win over Bills). The winner of the game

will have the lead in the AFC East. If Miami wins, they lead because

of a better divisional record. After a 0-3 start, the Dolphins are now

a threat.

last 5 games for the dolphins are going to be tough.. Ricky looked good last night but its been a few years since he was a lead back.. & unlike some fans here, I think Henne will be nothing more than a game manager (average at that)..

Add in they are playing a lot of rookies in that secondary.. They are going to finish around 9-7 or 8-8..

You are seriously underestimating the Dolphins.
The are unlikely to beat the Steelers or Pats but every other games is winnable. Bills, Jags, Titans and Texans is not a very difficulat schedule. I predict that they lose only the two games.
As the man before you said, when we face them its likely for the divisional lead.

They're all winnable, but the Titans in particular are playing a lot better than they did in Week 6.

I think you guys are giving us too much credit. We're a good team but we have too many injuries to make a run at you guys.

We're missing alot of players due to injuries.

Henne and Pennington = a Wash
Ronnie Brown out, Patrick Cobbs out. Cobbs is a play maker and makes huge plays. Lex Hilliard has got talent but he's nowhere near as good as out other backs. The question is can Ricky carry the load the rest of the year at 32 years old.
The O-Line is beat up. Hopefully our 3 hogs that got injured last night will all be back next sunday.
Nose Tackle Ferguson our main run stopping cog and the reason why we had the #7 ranked rush D going into last night, left with a kneed injury, rumours are its a season ending injury. When he left it showed Carolina ran for 182 yards last night.
Our CB's are rookies, they are getting better every game though, but it will take a few years for them to become the dominate tandem that they can become.
Our two best TE's are hurt (Martin on IR) and Fasono is hurt. Haynos is not as good as those boys

I do think that it will be 7-4 vs 6-5 that week but I do think realistically and I think after that sunday nighter it will be 8-4 and 6-6. Our team is young and good, but they are hurt and too inexperienced to beat with one of the elite teams in the league. I do think it will be a tight game though but your firepower will win the game when required.
