Did Moss book it after one question in his press conference? I just watched it on my mobile and it seemed to end awkwardly.

Randy entered the press conference saying he would only be taking two questions. Being a man of his word, he turned and left after answering the second question.

I love Randy. GO PATS!

Looks like it from the video. You can hear someone asking a question as he ducks off from the podium.

Ah, what a player! Yes, he's on the downside. He doesn't outjump everyone in double coverage and he doesn't accelerate away from the defense on a long catch, so they can't do without a second deep threat the way that perhaps they could in '07. But he's still great -- smart, brave, sure-handed, decisive. It's an honour to watch him.

you guys got a gem in Moss so doubt. nice to see some respect for Vontae as I think he's the real deal. That was his 2nd career start Sunday and the pcik and blowing up Welker on that bubble screen, that could have sealed the game earlier in the 4th, were big time plays. Too bad he got beaten for the dagger but cotchery caught him in a rookie mistake last week as well. Good luck the rest of the way, with that passing game you guys always have a chance.

Reminds me of the old Joe Greene commercial, the kids gives him a pepsi or coke, and Mean Joe gives him his jersey... kind of hokey, but similar..

Let's not ignore the possibility that he's still playing hurt and not quite at 100%.

I'm not going to make any prognostications (i.e., Moss might do this, Moss might do that), but you have to admit the basic truth of that statement: he's definitely closer to the end of his career than the beginning.

And, knowing what I know now: imagine if the Pats had gotten Moss and Welker back in 2004 or 2005. . . .

Seems like he was drafted yesterday, I remember hoping the Pats would draft him back then. I just knew this dude was going to be a great player, time moves so fast. I was in my junior year of High School when he was drafted. I'm an old man now.

Did you see Moss run up to the Ghost & hug him after he kicked through the endzone on his second consecutive kickoff (after a penalty) to prevent any return by Ginn? Then he handed his TD ball to a little kid in the stands. It's amazing what getting in with a the right team can do for ya! Even though he's getting old, he's good to go this year and I'm glad we got him (and yes, I was one of the people who said BB would never trade for him).

He's always done that, since his days from MN.

well i appreciate your honesty. larry gannon was a running back and earthquake hunt was a dt. without looking, how about carlos pennywell or rod shoate or clayton weishuhn or tony collins or mighty mack herron or roland james or russ francis or andre tippett or ronnie lippet. i got more if you need it.

I know who Lippet is...he was my coach when I played semi-pro
And he was a darn nice guy to know when I had my time with him
