What's the use?

What's the use? It's all about money and leverage for other new stadiums especially their in-state teams. Three teams in the state, two of which have been itching for a new stadium and a third that has a borderline insane owner who would move in in a heartbeat for the right price- one will end up there, one will end up with another new stadium, and the Raiders will get a third stadium built to force the A's out so they can tear down the rest of the Coliseum to make it a full football-only stadium.

And even if they can't get any of those three to leave their markets they have a few others that are also rumored to be in the market for a move there if they don't get more fans or improvements to their stadiums or whatever they can dig up to justify a move.
